though it doesnt go against my numerous experiences of shooting a T80 in the ammo and it going in one side and out the other

Yeah, that’s structural steel, which due to being soft & “thin” doesn’t spall much [or at all below x mm of thickness].
It also protects against low-velocity spalling from the HHRA.
Trusting any mainstream media is hilariously stupid, doesn’t matter west or east.

it happens, sure, but not to the same extent
Then explain it happening on all Challenger 1/2s, Chieftains, AVREs, DeathsStars, almost all M60s, Tiger 2s, and literally 100s of other tanks.
This is just peak confirmation bias.
Ammo not detonating has 2 main causes:
1, tank uses 2 piece ammo
2, tank’s ammo is not modelled individually.
What is the common in the tanks i listed?
ALL USE 2 PIECE AMMO EXCEPT 2, BUT THOSE HAVE AMMO MODELLED IN GROUPS.

I shot 3 times the ammo rack of a Tiger 2, and every time some ammo just disappeared. THREE TIMES IN A ROW.
So what now? German bias?

I’m grinding through US tech tree currently, and Tiger II’s ammo has blacked out and disappeared more than couple of times.
Have experienced same thing happening to Italian 2S1 as well.

Yes. Literally 100s of vehicles have this, but they only notice when it happens to a soviet/russian tank…

Looks like French AuF1 isn’t immune to this problem as well, ammo blacked out and did nothing whatsoever in two consecutive shots. But I guess we shouldn’t talk about this, after all that tank isn’t Russian so who even cares, right ?
No one should care if it doesn’t fit the agenda of blatantly hating a single nation.
