I find people referring to this war as ‘conflict’ have very suspect leanings. And given how much effort you put in defending the soviet equipment, You know, sometimes words speak for themselves, but alas that is not the topic of this thread.

Remember you’re the one claiming that Russian tanks are equal to Western tanks without any evidence. That’s without mentioning the elephant in the room that is Ukraine. As much as you want to bury your head in the sand, there is plenty of evidence there to anyone who isn’t blinkered.
One question to try and stimulate your grey matter into long overdue action - why do you think Russia is able to produce and lose thousands of their tanks but Western nations, including the US, aren’t able to produce anywhere close to the same numbers? You really think that Russia is producing equal or better tanks at a greater number than the West? Are you completely delusional?

They can’t. The stuff they’re losing is remnants from when soviet industry was ‘thriving’ (While abusing every citizen, obviously) and a lot of that also happened in Ukrainian plants.

Well, you can think a little and use your brain. Maybe even google a little. Make an assumption about some “shady” sides in losses question. Then, maybe, learn about huge reserves of tanks, that were left by soviet union (you know that most new russian tanks are modernised old ones? There arent that much new produced tanks). Maybe even learn about things like military budget and how it was gradually decreased after cold war, so many EU countries had their military in quite poor condition (like Bundeswehr and British army). Like, you know quite many things happened in the world since 1991 that determined what is going on now all over the world.
So why are the Western tanks deployed in Ukraine not being lost at the same rate as the Russian tanks that Ukraine has deployed? Let me guess your counter argument - they are using them more carefully because…they don’t want western tanks to look bad? Keeping coping.
Even if they are being more careful using Western tanks, that in itself would be an indicator that the tanks are worth more, and are more capable.

No. They are all fine vehicles, with some feautres that are better on ones. Like, western MBTs (More exclusively to, Leo and M1 have better precautions for ammo racking, better electronics (not that big gap now, but still), CITVs are on all of them (Only recent T-90M have CITV) and they have better ammo (thanks to huge downfall of military after SU collapse). On the other hand, soviet-style have better all-round protection, they are more easier to be transfered (cause they are lighter and well, former-Soviet union have infastructre suited better for them), imo Autoloaders are better than manual loading (and thats why i like Leclerc or Asian MBTs).
