I mean the challenger 2 is kinda of a joke now because it’s armor is bad in a sense that there is so many holes in it that you can’t even hull down

the upper front plate is supposed to be as armored as the turret yet it has the armor value of a challenger 1
The Leclerc kinda has the same issue but that’s a different story
This whole thing is an easy fix, give it the new shell, move it up, and in its current 9.7 spot add AMX-10RC TML 105, because the later one was stabilized and had an older round. Gaijin seems adamantly against logical solutions

Almost have it spaded and the road was long and painful. Same kind of torture as with the type 16p, before it got DM23, all be it at a lower br.
While the Vextra had a high ptw ratio, only eclipsed by the Rad90 (10), which gets a better round, but lacks thermals.
I like to play wheeled combat vehicles and the Vextra and Type16 p & fps are my least favourite.
Due to the lack in firepower.
Personally i like my Type-16 FPS, especially ever since it recieved DM23.
True, and it’s premium status, but compared to Rad90, Class 3p, Cent 105’s, rooikat105’s, Boxer MGS, Patria 105 at their respected BR, Type 16p,fps & Vextra are undergunned.
Its true that they can add Type-93 shell to Type-16 FPS but that will come with br increase and will basically make it premium Type-16.
Tho im not against it.
Maybe a new round now AMX40 is 10.0 and 9.7 no longer exist?

Honestly it is very weak at 9.,7, already has trouble penning and gets one shot even with trained max vitality crew and can’t see how it’s better than Centauro or Type 10?
New shell which would indeed be more useful so we can pair this with Leclercs and bring it top tier :)
I already did bring it at top tier. The low penetration and spalling was a big issue.
Now that the pen is somewhat usable, my last gripe with it to be competitive with the Leclerc lineup is a reload buff. 6.7s is average at 10.0, but it’s downright bad in top tier.
Or we can get a CTA40, which I will prefer over the VEXTRA
Yeah, but once you try bring Type 10 or was it Type 16 the wheeled light one japanese to top tier you won’t complain about 6.7 reload as that thing does 8 seconds and is downright useless other than to cap a zone haaah

Yeah, leclerc shell on a vextra is clearly fine for top tier + with gen 3 and mobility it will hurt.
it’s probably not as good as the best light tank in sweden tech in terms of penetration but it should still be great.
I’m really glad to see they finally decided to buff the Vextra… after I’ve been complaining to Smin1080 for five months.
But what is this OFL 105 G2 round? Did Gaijin mess up the name?
I think Bossman will be happy about this though.
Oh, and since the Super Étendard has now been moved to 11.0, maybe it should get Magic 2 missiles to keep it balanced with the Su-25BM, which has access to two R-73s.
