VEXTRA 105 - Still not EXTRAordinary

Yeah, agreed. Personally, I had hoped for a “minor euro” tree to feature swiss (and BeNeLux) tech in their own area. But having the franco-swiss projects in the FR tree (and specifically absent from Germany) is a good enough compromise for me. Belgium and Switzerland don’t have a nice short word to describe them both for a subtree, but I prefer those two to be featured alongside french tech the most. Germany can have the Dutch copypasta.

Rattles me bones that some people think Germany is in need of all Swiss vehicles ever produced. The second most gluttonous tree in the game needs more bloody tanks, and aircraft with zero affiliation? No, they bloody don’t.

@Smin1080p_WT

Sorry to bother you but is there any new information about potantiel F2 shell and br increase ?

BeNeLux ground alone would’ve been anaemic with inevitable BR compression. But a BeNeLux with Austrian and Swiss sub-trees could’ve been do-able.

But I think Belgium is a good addition for France, mostly because I’m rather partial to all the cool things Cockerill cooks up. And now that Arquus has been sold off to Cockerill, we’ll see a lot more interesting and potent vehicles now that the French MIC will be fully on board. Can’t wait to see what is cooked up for the VBAE.

Yeah, but are you partial enough to it to not have our stuff fixed in favour of just giving more of that?

Vextra 105: OFL 105 F1 Incorrect Penetration

These devs man… not only are they incapable of buffing any high-tier French vehicle but they’re also incapable of properly nerfing them too.

Perhaps they will now realise how anaemic OFL 105 F1.
a green frog with a rope around its neck is crying and holding a sign that says copium .

Why is the already not great thing getting made even less great? Isn’t it bad enough already?

You know, when there’s a dead horse, why not just keep beating it

I was fucking hoping this thing was gonna be like Centauro 120 but france got that top tier light tank copium.
Either this thing has to get decent sabot or 5 second reload.
Without anyone of them, it’s not 9.7 material.

I guess a roundabout way of forcing the devs to give Vextra an upgrade in round.

Since reports for FCS are being acknowledged:

I present one for the Vextra 105:

Basically, within the acquisition envelope of IRIS TGS (i.e., when in gunner view), up to 15 targets would be automatically designated to the player and a ballistic solution would be provided to the player for each target. Figure 1 shows a top-down view of the acquisition envelope for the SXXI commander sight for visual purposes:

Spoiler

The diagram of the Leclerc depicted isn’t actually an SXXI. But ignore that xD

Eventually the devs will realise the Vextra has no place at 9.7 sigh

I am so disappointed in gaijin not doing anything with the vextra in the coming update, it’s in such a sad state

Challenger 2; 97~ reports open.

Well that’s what happens when the Challenger reports are ‘this specific version has a model inaccuracy’ (the first many reports are name, optic zoom and model reports for very specific variants) and then Leclerc reports are “every single variant is missing this major future that massively effects both realism and gameplay”

Another reply to this because we need to keep this discussion alive, Vextra shouldn’t be artificially dragged down to a lower BR and nerfed, especially when the 9.7 area of France for light vehicles has plenty of other options, such as the AMX-10RC with the TML 105 turret.

Gaijin absolutely should move the Vextra up in BR after fixing its various problems, then work on a lineup for it, its current spot can be filled by other more deserving vehicles

They won’t listen. They’ve decided it should be bad, so it will be bad.

but now we have the Leopard 2A4NL at 10.7 without a lineup.

Then we need more people to complain about it

And? They don’t care. It was never about line up, it was just to keep it artificially nerfed.

If that worked, Leclerc and Chally would be fixed.

People give up too easily on those, eventually the reply chains fall quiet
