It frustrates me that the word “club” just means that we don’t want to be challenged a bit by another nation.

There was no well reasoned position. M900 and F2 will be identical in what they can and can’t penetrate.
So in the end the M1128 will be more survivable and the Vextra will be far more mobile and agile. So they are pretty much equal, and so should be at the same BR.
You say that, yet you want the Vextra with F2 to be at the same BR as the ZLT11 and Centauro romor, which would both be far far worse.
It should get F2, I never disagreed. It’s just that it should get a BR increase to 10.0-10.3 when it gets F2.

I’m not going to delve in beating a dead horse, but the Leclerc is arguably much better than the challenger 2 IRL, and has far more primary sourced reports than the challenger 2 sitting in limbo. Having the premium ruining it’s stats would make the devs more inclined to fixing those primary sourced reports than they are with France currently having one of the best WR at top tier (thanks to the player base skill and the CAS options more than the MBT themselves)

You would think with the OES being awful Gaijin would want to bring up the problems with Challengers but we don’t live in a utopia. Just waiting for the OES to be removed from sale, its the worse selling 11.0+ premium easily.
The Vextra is far, far superior platform to the ZTL-11. That’s the same BR.
Its literal only advantage is that it has a better shell.
I’m fine with it getting DM33 if the ZTL-11 goes to 9.3.
Who cares about those vehicles though? Give the Vextra the OFL 105 F2 round and move it up in BR. Place it in the appropriate BR range. I don’t really see why it needs to be “balanced” with vehicles of the same types. Let it be better in every way to some of the vehicles you guys compared it to.

Dutch and Belgian ground forces may be coming in the next few updates, like how we got Hungarian air forces after Hungarian ground forces, even though the Hungarian air tree was 100% copy/paste
It would be a significantly better tank than the Centauro 105 R / VRCC with the new round (even though it’s better than them already)
As it should be.
Vextra 105 was designed to be top dog so its only makes sense to give F2 shell and move to 10.3Br.

I was mostly talking about the last thing they said, the VRCC and Vextra are very similar vehicles and giving the Vextra a much better round would warrant a BR increase, as the VRCC only gets DM33.
The thing that annoys me the most about the Vextra (besides the shell) at the moment is this:
The fuel tanks are completely separated from the crew, why the hell are they not considered externals?
The amount of death I’ve had from fuel explosions in this thing is insane.
The VBCI-2 has a similar arrangement and it’s considered external:
And then we have the 2S38 with no separation from the crew and yet it’s still considered external (wut?)
These inconsistencies makes no sense to me.
Anyway, I agree with everyone else in this thread: The Vextra should get its correct shell and put at 10.3, and the existent 9.7 lineup should be brough to 10.0-10.3 with the following changes:
- AMX-40: Increase its pen (didn’t someone find a 120mm round that was better than the G1 but worse than the F1? That would be perfect) and maybe improve the reload, increase BR to 10.3
- AMX-32: Increase its pen and maybe improve the reload, increase BR to 10.0 (leave AMX-32 105 as it is)
- VBCI: Give it its HE-VT shells, increase to 10.0 or 10.3
- Roland: Fix elevation, put it at 10.3 like other Roland systems
This would create a 10.0-10.3 that would look something like this:
AMX-40, AMX-32, Vextra 105, VBCI-2, Roland, Tigre HAP, Super Etendard, Mirage III
All this without having to add a single vehicle. This would be a massive QOL change for France players without requiring significant amount of work on the dev’s part.

I’ve also heard that the composites are underperfoming on it, if that gets fixed it could be a good 10.3

The problem with the 32 is that it’s SLOOOOW and feels like complete shit to play. I don’t know if 10.0 is good even if it got a better round

Vextra is superior to VRCC in almost every category, putting Vextra 105 at 9.7 with F1 was nothing but a mistake, thats why it should recieve F2 and should get br increase.

That’s a pretty wild claim to make when its something I can easily check;
Leclerc; 37~ reports open.
Challenger 2; 97~ reports open.
Remind me which primary source materials you have for Leclerc other than the brochure? Because CR2 reports are majority backed by photos and documents from the National Archives.

It is a known factor that the French Government has a stricter policy regarding Classified information, which includes photographs and documents in the National Archives.
Considering that we are talking about confidential information here, a brochure from the official manufacturer is as good as photos and documentation.
Perhaps the reason you felt offended is because he claimed that Leclerc is better then Challenger 2 in real life?

Oh I’m not disputing any claims of what’s better or not and I’m not offended at all. But to claim there are more reports and that there is more primary documentation for the Leclerc is nonsense.

Except Gaijin is killing more and more the map, removing each time the flank possibility, and they still want us to flank, on map where frontal engagment is clearly the main things to happen?
