there are other things. At some point, i dont remember when but in one of the rumour roundups and discussions, they talked about a possible helicopter for germany in a nearby future update, rather funny H145M is on the leak list, which is a german helicopter. The Centauro 2 was leaked by Olivia, if I am not mistaken, last year, Chu MPMS. This is highly possible due to japan being one of the countries that is lacking in fire and forget missiles, the second being France, and third being Sweden, but the only swedish vehicle with fire and forget missiles is not close yet, and gaijin hasnt shown any signs on wanting to work on the french jaguar AFV

Not to mention using the Aussies to give an F/A-18 to Britain and giving Germany the Canadian modified Leopard 2A4 is the kind of nonsense I have come to expect from a typical War Thunder update.
well, a leopard is going to come to Germany, of course, im guessing that other commonwealth vehicles that dont have a very specific country of origin, like some LAV’s variants, will go to the UK, plus gszabi already leaked the 2A4 canadian for germany
I have no issue with the commonwealth nations going to Britain, it’s more that I don’t like the idea of using them as an excuse to add American equipment to a tree that produces enough of their own stuff to not need it. As for the Canadian Leopard 2A4M I was aware that it was leaked but did not know it was planned for Germany, which is something I do not agree with.

not going to discuss that further since that’s your own opinion, but its like the challenger 130, completely modified by rheinmetall and never adopted by britain because its just a demonstrator yet i dont think it should go to germany cuz its a challenger duh

Generally if I want to protest against something I tend to do it on the Subreddit, forum arguments about these sort of things tend to spiral into geopolitics and whatnot which IMO is taking it far too seriously.
yuh but a lot of the tech is from Rheinmetall, a german company but well, you get me here The point is that removing their respective tanks just because of some connections, either tech-based or geopolitical, is kind of dumb

that i know they had made a completely new turret from zero made an autoloader and put the gun with their own ammo idk if BAE systems had to do anything with it tbh, i would need sources for that, i know that rheinmetall did the turret, some systems, gun, autoloader, armor and ammunition, sights and other stuff like that obviously from other companies but still german and french companies
Its the Challenger 2 LEP with gun switched out and with add on armour with auto loader
challenger 2 LEP turret redesign demonstrated in 2019 by Rheinmetall, not RBSL.

rheinmetall had to go ask Bae systems for usage of the hull on the challenger 2; as such Bae systems agreed and rheinmetall designed a new turret that was fitted on the challenger 2 hull with the permission of Bae Systems. This was to demonstrate the unified workings between the two companies since the LEP was shown as the first demonstration of collaboration between the two companies in 2019, but regarding the construction of the turret, it was completely Rheinmetall’s. As far as I know, this was mostly a strategy from both BAE and Rheinmetall to start selling their products more, basically rheinmetall can sell their turret on a challenger 2 hull under license of BAE and BAE can gain money out of this aswell as sell some of their hulls too, basically a win win situation for both of them.
They didn’t ask BAE to use the hull as RBSL is literally (Rhinemetall BAE systems land) which was the new company formed for this
