Vehicle research point bug!

For some reason, while researching a Rank VII vehicle with a rank VI in sim. My Vehicle Modification research was much lower than it should be.

Shouldnt i have at least 75k of vehicle modification research points ?

I think you did get that, it doesn’t show the “overflow” that you can spend on other modifications than the one selected. It only shows how much RP was put into that specific modification.

I only got enough to buy the exact modifications in the picture ( it was a 100% stock plane, first match using it in sim )

But then again, how much should’ve been the vehicle MODIFICATION RP ? close to 80k right ?

But i got like… 35-40k tops…

Is there something im missing here ?

Thanks for the answer

By the way, i mean the modifications you research… i did get the VEHICLE RESEARCH POINTS ( for the next Buccaneer in line )

But for modules modifications, i got only like 40k tops

The amount of RP you get for vehicle vs modification isn’t a 1:1 . You can look at your previous games to compare how much modification RP vs vehicle RP you’ve gotten.

Oh… usually its less for vehicle research, not the other way around

The real bug is that if you start a new game before a previous one is over, you will lose that overflow RP.

The RP shown in the battle report (excluding vehicle research bonus) adds up to the 46,042 you received for modifications (6,332 + 39,658+52 = 46,042). (As shown in the bottom right of the second screenshot, since you said it was completely stock prior to this match).

The vehicle modification RP adds up to the Module research plus the vehicle research bonus, then the 10% bonus for researching the next vehicle in the line, so: (46,042 + 23,021 ) * 1.10 = 75,969

So everything seems in order, unless you’re meaning the individual RP lines at the top should be higher?

In my opinion this after battle report is confusing when it comes to showing RP stuff. I don’t know why they don’t show the overflow and the bonus effects clearer.

It’s because the RP required for the modification was used, and the excess went to the other plane, any other RP split to mods would be used in the next time you finished a normal match IIRC.

They fixed it - if you are still getting it you need to let them know:

i dont think “vehicle research bonus” counts into your modifications.
it only applies said RP into researching new vehicle. you didnt get scammed.

That’s rights. This bonus is for new vehicle only.

TBH I didn’t trust 'em/ are conditioned to just go touch grass for a while when ever a game doesn’t have a happy ending.
