Heavy Tank No.6 was owned and operated by a Japanese testing crew in the Europe. What does this have to do with my point? Its in the Japanese tech tree despite being made from German parts. The same way the skink is in the GB tech tree because it was operated by Canada, a commonwealth nation despite being made from American parts. It isn’t rocket science to keep your own argument straight dude.
Tell me you don’t play top tier without telling me you don’t play top tier.
I would pick the the rooivalk over the MK1. The only reason i don’t is you need the starstreaks to shoot down russian helis.
only with the sweds
the only cas I ever die from there is the Su-25SM3
because everything else gets intercepted by friendly SPAAs
I take an F16 over the SU25 any day.
It has 4 good missiles, which can be easily defeated by standing close to wrecks or simple smoke. If there is no SPAA yet, you might use your 2 KH25. After that you go back to base.
F16 can kill more tanks with one sortie, has the best AA missisles and one of the best flight models.
It’s going to be way more usefull and contributing to the win of a team than a frogfoot will ever be.
lack of skill
yeah no, if it was like that they would have fixed mig-29 and su-27,s flight model LOOOOOOONG ago same with the radars. and fixed the stupid kab-tv bombs not tracking at all. and so on
The SM3 fires 4 kh38 and is absolutely the king of grb but soon to be dethroned by the su34 that will also be able to act as a fighter.
You can fire from outside any spaa range all battle, land and repeat, probably all in under 2 minutes… your only counter is another jet.
So take off, launch 4 missiles and land with zero risk or fly to the battlefield with a plane you think is king and risk pantsir and other aircraft then still have to fly clear back to rearm (if you’re still alive)
Welcome to NATO CAS.
I’ve been firing from outside SPAA range in a dozen CAS jets since 2022.
I would say that the f16 is the current king. Su34 will be close but i am going to have to see how it does on the live server.
I still think the funniest thing was when they moved the a6e up 0.3br and went “we will give it agm123 to help it”.
I’m still waiting for russia to finally get a thermal pod that will let them shoot and then maintain laser lock while flying away from the fight. Where are the sapsan and damocles pods? Are they with the bias?
Meanwhile USA is about to get superb thermals on a literal stealth bomber as low as 10.0. But yes it’s Russian CAS that’s being pampered and NATO that’s being handicapped.
edit:
More importantly though, what about Japan or other minor nations. USA isn’t being handicapped compared to most of the nations in this game.
Why would they need that when you can fire ir guided missiles that don’t need it? And the F117 carries 2 bombs and is slow as shit, you will spend all game getting 2 potential kills and probably end up getting killed by another jet.
The F16 can’t strike from outside pantsir range, the kh38 can strike from FAR outside, even though it isn’t impossible to avoid pantsir it’s much more difficult to play the f16 in grb for a strike role
The same reason anyone else would want to look at the battlefield without needing to fly towards it, or guide a laser guided weapon without needing to fly directly at the battlefield.
You don’t have to worry about that, have you ever even played with the kh38?? You fire the thing from far outside Spaa range, it’s over twice the speed of the maverick and it can hit planes and helis. I’ve hit stuff reliably over 15 miles out.
There’s more than kh38’s pal. Some people prefer the laser ones since they like the option to redirect to new targets. They just enjoy them more. Some people are flying planes that can’t mount kh-38s. Some players don’t have enough spawn points to afford Kh38s. Some people just want to orbit the battlefield while looking down to their sides with thermals to find targets rather than needing to commit to approach to look. Some players just want to fly their fighters with anti-air CAP loadout but want to bring a pod to help call out enemy positions for their teammates.
Russia should be given their thermal pods like the other nations, and the only argument against giving them their pods is a “well, uhhhh, it would be russian bias to give russia the same kind of equipment that other nations have”
