USSR CAS is being led like a puppy dog while NATO CAS is left handicapped, why?

Because balance is a secondary priority to hype and gimmicks ofc

The major US AA gap is still going to be unresolved after the update. A 3.7 AA thats unique and a copy pasted 5.0 spaa from Britain (that the US tech tree shouldnt have) doesnt really cut it. There have been plenty of legitimate suggestions for US SPAA prototypes that would fit very nicely into the gap but instead we get copy pasted crap and a vehicle that is at a useless BR that nobody asked for more SPAA at.

Out of curiosity, how would the Patriot work in ground? It is a multi unit system that isnt cruising around on the back of a Toyota. I get that anti air coverage isnt in a great place, but the Patriot being some ground vehicle (unless there is some new system that I have never heard of nor seen in operation) isnt coming as a playable vehicle nor should it, patriots wont be touching Ground Forces outside maybe Airfield defense unless of course we operate (which again, I have never seen any in operation nor have I ever heard of any) some single vehicle all included patriot system.

gaijin is Russian(with a Hungarian mail box and they do pay taxes there too) so yea

This is a perfect example of the user Gaijin is catering to. No critical thought, they play with a credit card. It’s unfortunately going to slowly kill the game.

Seems like it’ll be balanced against GPS bombs then.

Very complex, I’d prefer seeing those medium range AAM in airfields, nowadays you just drop a bomb and return still safe.

I wouldn’t call a Stealth bomber “Handicapped”

yeah, the f117 isn’t top tier and is completely vulnerable to ground radar and irst

It is to IRST and Radar without its bay open

Simply “because it isn’t top tier” doesn’t mean it’s any less busted.

Since they added two now, will it take them another 47 years to add another one?

the type93- 9.3 can get a lock from 10km. I’m sure the Strella/Imp Chaparral/Antelope can too.
the type87- 8.3 can get a lock from 5km. I’m sure the Roland/Osa/ASRAD-R/ can too.

unless they go to space, they are still somewhat vulnerable to AA, in which case there are other planes at similar brs that can do similar, especially with the added benefit of being able to defend against other planes.
I don’t think that this means the F117 should be buffed, just that using it as a basis to say America is favored is unfair. The F117 is a gimmick, not a game-breaking meta change.

Even if the F117 ends up being effective in ground RB on the live server, why shouldn’t it? It sacrifices literally every other capability to be good at this one thing.

Why? Simple.

Because reasons, tovarish.

Once again the Skink uses a US-made Engine and Transmission.
While the rest may be Canadian and British, your take without the Engine and Transmission is nothing more than a glorified immobilized bunker. That is practically 75% of the vehicle. Cause those 2 components and probably a lot of lesser components are likely from US origin.

US cas seems to get just as much if not more hand holding.

They should be adding more to the minor nations but those are not the money makers that US/Russia are.

Big words from someone who asked for a multi unit system that was never implemented in the game, with no regard for balance

Like what they did to Brimstone?

brimstone getting added is nice. we still need some stuff for other nations like italy and japan
