Indeed, sometimes I question my play style but when I check the leaderboard I see a T-80UD player in level 8, it’s frustrating, because, using this vehicle as example, not having the best mobility to leave certain positions require the player huge adaptation to the sluggish mobility compared to things like the Leopard 2A4 (PzBtl 123) or the M1 KVT, which requires mostly knowledge of the player to shoot curtains spots,
And regarding the reverse speed of 4 km/h on the T-72 platform to the T-80 platform, 4 km/h to 11 km/h is not much difference in practical terms when the competition have 20 km/h to 30 km/h. In some cases even more on vehicles with transmission like the Begleitpanzer 57 has, making the vehicle reach the same forward speed at reverse gear.
The good gun handling is only available on the T-90M making this the single Russian vehicle, out of 2, comparable to the gun handling in most late Western MBTs with the same ~40°/s in gun elevation and depression, and turret horizontal control, the rest are limited to ~32°/s only in horizontal, keeping the 4°/s in the gun elevation and depression, example are the 2S25M.
Could you at least say what it’s?
“Oh you mean absorb” what? Absorb my anger and frustrating when I see “Fuel tank exploded” in my screen, the only top tier USSR vehicle that doesn’t have this issue is the T-90M because the fuel tank is sealed.
Regarding the T-90M, despite the mobility and gun reload time, I have more preferences for it over the T-80BVM, the mobility is indeed limiting but I prefer the slow kind of gameplay.
Then my problem is not facing those vehicles, the few times I saw these in the enemy team, were quickly shoot down.
I may be blind or I have some sort of mental illness, but what’s written in this quote?
In fact, but am I wrong? At 10.3 USA already has a premium CAS, same does USSR but doesn’t have access to TV guided missile, meaning it has to be at shorter ranges, At 7.7 France has the best ground lineup with the best cannons and armor in the same vehicle you can find, examples is the AMX-50 Surbaissé and the AMX-50 Foch, at 9.0 Japan have the best vehicles in this BR range, like the Type 89 and Type 74, at 8.7 to 9.3 Germany holds one of the best vehicles at its BR range, examples are the Begleitpanzer 57 and Leopard A1A1 with good weapon and versatility, at 6.7 USA holds the best lineup either in ground and air with easier accessible CAS. USSR only starts to be competitive at 8.7.
If you check the modern armor simulator ground battles rotation queue, you can see why I say USSR is a bad nation to put time and effort on, sometimes I see 10 players wanting to play using a Western vehicles and 4 players in the other side, with T-64A (1971) as best vehicle to play, it seems to be, either people playing are doing it wrong, or it means that, not only me, but other people also see USSR as worth.
