she has basically the same 16inch guns as iowa just slighly older and very similar armor making it almost impossible to kill in any 7.3 like why is a KONGO fighting this ??? genuinely why ? its far closer to any 8.7 than 8.3 should be increased in br and made 8.7

Why can destroyers see battlecruisers and battleships they can’t realistically kill?
Kongous can at least get cheeky kills through the ammo elevators via mag detonations.
The current issue with SoDak is there’s really not much at tier that can combat it.
Bismarck dies if shells hit the elevators, Nagato, Tosa and Mutsu are probably the only reliable threat.
Amagi is 50/50 because she’s pretty glass despite same ridiculous guns as her cousin ships.
Even if true, let the U.S. have some fun for a while. We had to deal with Kronshtadt, then Scharnhorst (which took years to fix), then Amagi and Mutsu, and now Sovetsky Soyuz. Give the Americans a chance to have an OP ship. It’s never been that fun to play American battleships with 45 second reloads.
The fact American dreadnoughts have a 40 second reload Aced is baffling.

them having suffer cause they decided to refit there boats and remove ready racks causing them to have long reloads is not anyone else’s fault so why should we have to suffer

Hyuga and Ise both suck.
Kronshtadt at least has bite. She once had armor but it got nerfed to the ground because people whined. It left Scharnhorst completely uncontested for YEARS.
Dante Alighieri at least has firerate and okay armor.
Hyuga and Ise suck but at least they have a higher firerate than American dreads. Although Colorado is arguably the best dread since her guns are actually scary.

Ameircan cruisers and destroyers are in throne for year, especially Brooklyn and Helena was unable to balance for years, thus bring battleship to the game and give pains to other cruisers.
Also, current Iowa is in very okay state, just next to Soyuz, and then South Dakota is in very OP status where most of 7.3 battleships can’t even penetrate her main belt at point blank range.
Soyuz, Iowa, South Dakota they all should be nerfed.

roma richileu bismarck yamato and musashi none of them can beat it in a 1v1
now imagine being a 7.7 facing that in a 1v1 duel
A drastic nerf to naval powercreep is .3/.4 down, .3/.4 up.
So if you got a 5.7 you can only see 5.3 or 6.0 ships.

Within these brackets, Soyuz gets hard nerfed to the ground since it can’t see 7.7 anymore. Let alone 8.0.

The biggest issue with naval is the ridiculous disparity between brackets.
Prince of Wales is 7.7 with absolutely dogass for penetration ability and it has to occasionally fight Soyuz or Iowa.
But 7.0 dreadnoughts have to see the IJN Nightmare that is Mutsu and Tosa.

Amagi has the Kronshtadt and Alaska problem with the additional turn radius doesn’t exist problem.
Ise and Hyuga can be instantly flooded to death with bow penetrations since some dumbass in the design phase decided to give the frontal magazine a 25mm roof.
Fusou is fusou. I never saw that thing die fast and it was always a several minute ordeal to bring one down unless you got lucky flooding.
Problem with the 7.0 to 7.7 IJN is you got the garbage british 35.6s and don’t get something actually good until Mutsu and Amagi. Or if you actually grinded this event; Tosa.
Glad someone brought this up. I played the Iowa a lot and I can say that it’s definitely a 8.7 BB. It’s good in almost all aspects. However with the with the South Dakota, you definitely get worse gun, mobility. As for armor, I can’t say how much worse it is compared to the Iowa, if it is even worse.
Wouldn’t this be in line with 8.3 BBs?
I do agree that the BR system is heavily compressed and it shouldn’t be fighting 7.3 ships but that can be said about the majority of 8.3 BBs.
