You should be able to choose if you like to see other skins or not. If people turn option on and be offended, it’s their own fault. I dont get the point. if you dont like it just set to historical only or turn on hello kitty mode idk.

What would be very easy, and what I would personally like: just a quick check at the start of each match to see if anyone’s using a user skin. If yes, check the file name of that user skin and compare it to the file names of user skins that you have downloaded. If you have it downloaded then display it on their vehicle! simple as that!
It would allow for you and your friends to enjoy each others skins, and potentially encounter other players who use similar skins to you.
Though the feasibility of it is up in the air given Gaijin’s spaghetti code, but really, how hard could it be?
Personally I don’t mind SS tanks in battle or care about the War in Ukraine or Israel but silly hello kitty tanks would drive me mad and how would you separate them ?

The only reason why I have the Nazi ones is for Historical accuracy. Meaning: Tikas on the tails of some WW2 German planes.

A lot of people are getting anoyed by anime decals and shoot at friendly tanks with them - they would be furious to see full anime skins.
Also, i’ve started using iranian decals on tanks and it also upsets some people
Could be a good idea. Sadly gaijin doesn´t do anything good. Heck, the fact that they sell skins, will also haveing a setting to not see them, kills half the reason to buy these skins.
Combine that with default settings disallowing all decals, all fictional skins and all additional content outside of the hangar (thats everything on the gaijin market, by the way) and most people will never see these cosmetics, unless they find those options and allow them to be shown.
Which most people don´t do, cause there is no hint these settings even excist.
With this contradicting non-sense been the current stand and the fact that userskins are there primary source for there skin cases, i don´t think gaijin will allow userskins to be shown.

Wont ever happen and the resources needed to police idiots abusing it would be absurd. Same reason we can’t be trusted to have universal in-game voice chat as that would become a shit show in under 10secs. It’s an absolutely stupid and naive idea.
