The Sim economy needs nuked and completely rebuilt. OR just get rid of the “Useful Actions” nerf and buff actual kill rewards. This isn’t complicated.
I take a tech tree F2A out, get four kills, fly around until I see “Useful Actions” pop up and land. 19k SL. My plane costs 15.2k to spawn. Take off. Go get three more kills. Die. K/D is 7-1. Mission score is ~4000. Check the balance: +31k SL | -15.2k SL. Get real.
I’ve had multiple 15, 25, even a couple 30+ kill games in this plane and assuming I keep a 5:1 KD through those, I’ll make sub six figures SL. This is absolutely bananas.
The simple solution is to just revert the useful actions mechanic which is overly complicated to begin with and maybe just possibly buff the base A2A rewards.
Gaijin had such a problem with “passive gameplay” that they nerfed rewards so hard that you have to play passively. Get your couple kills (or ~1000 mission score), go fly around for the other 15 minutes, land, repeat.
Premium aircraft should be for tree grinding, I shouldn’t have to play with a premium jet just to actually make any decent SL. I’ll make 5-7 times as much SL in the Chinese SU 30 or even the ADTW F2 getting sub 10 kill games with a 1.3:1 KD than I’ve gotten in 25-6 games in a tech tree plane.
I get that the company just wants people to not play sim, but since not making ARB a cluster**** of 30 players and since I want to actually fly my plane, not my mouse, I refuse to play any other mode. It’s especially egregious when most people playing 13.7+ aren’t even grinding a tree anymore and are being punished for it essentially because…?
TL;DR: shouldn’t go broke with respectable kills in top tier sim. Fix it.
As with anything good in this game, it’ll be abused by the playerbase and gaijin doesnt want people to earn rp and sl easily because they wont buy stuff anymore.
The least we can push for to get rid of spawn cost or reduce it to nuclear thunder levels.
Even with premium time, the repair costs at some br’s significantly discourage me from playing
24k spawn on a B52 is actually freakin insane. Holy…
Still, I just think forcing players to condense their game activity is a net negative. I’m fine with spawn costs (not the B52 cost tho lmao), but it’s problematic in my opinion that players are better off doing custom lobbies over playing the actual sim mode
dude, i would love to play early jets because i love how the gameplay revolves. Barely any missiles you have to watch out for (rare 9B) just purely air to air combat. But i would go broke in the time it’ll take me to learn how to play them.

I still don’t think lowering the costs is the answer. Gaijin will just lower rewards to “compensate.” If the rewards were…rewarding and actually fair then the costs would be offset doing “bare minimum” of getting a few kills before dying or landing. 15+k costs is bad because we’re getting 2k per kill
Edit: I will say though having the same spawn costs at 5.7 as 13.7 is a complete sham. Rewards and costs should scale with BR. Like isn’t this how it’s supposed to work??
Using a using a premium plane is exactly half my point. I can make a million SL doing less than half the work in a premium than I do in a tech tree plane for a couple hundred thousand SL

I mean even in GRB the awards are pretty piss. Even with premium account. without premium tank its not even worth playing top tier cause you just don’t earn SL.
Case in point: just lazily went 4-1 in the MKK. 95k SL | -7k
This shouldn’t be the exception just because it’s a premium vehicle. Premium vehicles should obviously have a bonus, but it’s really the only way to profit on sim currently. Unless we count 3k as profit at 12.7+
