Decompression of top tier is an extremely tough decision to make, since you could end up with some blackhole BRs for some nations as well. Like you said accuracy shouldn’t be sacrificed for balance, but you can’t really balance some vehicles in the name of decompression without creating blackholes.
France at 5-6 BR is very different from Germany which is different from Russia.
That is the whole idea.
French tanks have good guns and light armour and no APHE but forces the player to concentrate more and not rely on the armour so it works.
Maybe not so much for a dumbass who only has one way of playing and who is constantly on chat all the time : )

What do you mean I can’t just press and hold W to win games? What you mean I have to learn positioning and aim for weakspots in certain areas to guarantee kills? I thought <insert vehicle here> is invincible and OP???
Sarcasm aside, really wish more players learn to play the game instead of crying about skill issues.

The issue comes when certain vehicles CAN just press and hold W to win games, while other vehicles at the same BR, on the other hand, NEED to be played impeccably well to achieve the same performance.
When a vehicle can win by itself by being played like a headless chicken when its counterpart requires it to be played like an eSports event, it’s not balance.

The base M1 Abrams with M774 is already the more meta vehicle compared to the T-80B. I refuse to believe you unironically think a T-80B is equal to a M900 -equipped IPM1. The IPM1 and T-80B used to be the top-tier MBT’s, that was when top-tier was at it’s most imbalanced it had ever been with the US being above a 80% winrate. An IPM1 is VASTLY superior.

T-90A at the same BR as a M1A1 and at a higher BR than the IPM1?! The whole reason these M1’s moved up is because they utterly and completely dominated everything else at their BR, including the T-90A.

The T-72B’s are already pointless to play right now, yet somehow you believe these vehicles to be worthy of a BR increase to the point where they share their battle ratings with the Leopard 2A4 and M1 Abrams?!

M1A2 SEP vs Leopard 2A7V/HU/122s, for example.
I have a 2.0 K/D with Leopard 2A7V when I play it turning my brain off and putting absolutely zero effort.
Meanwhile, I have to sweat my ass off if I want to achieve an even remotely similar performance with the Abrams; and since I just refuse to do so because I don’t find such gameplay to be fun, I have a negative K/D with it, even though I have a 2.0 K/D with the Leopard by playing it like a headless chicken.

If you’re referring to T-80BVMs, do note those have received far more nerfs than most MBTs did in recent months, resulting in the tank not being a W holder anymore like it used to sound like.
If you’re referring to Leopard 2s with a decently strong frontal armour scheme, do note it too also has weakspots that could easily one shot the entire crew inside out.
So no not really, the only time where you could “Hold W to win” is if the enemies are just completely blind on the flanks.
Seems fair I guess. Could also add T-80BVM (2023) after regular T-80BVM. (But it’s unused asset, so idk)

Italy is no longer buying the 2A8.
I think they would be the same BR, actually! Only difference I can recall is more comprehensive 360º ERA coverage and possibly better reverse speed, but I don’t think that’s enough to raise its BR compared to the current one.
And of this sweating, is it because the tank is bad or is it because the team isn’t supporting you? Is it because when you play in the Leo 2 people are having issues shooting you or people are just dumb? Lots of factors to consider before jumping into any sort of conclusions here.

And also, what’s the difference between Leclerc S.1 and S.2 in that case? In game they’re identical
Basically, it’s because I can just rush like a headless chicken on the 2A7V with more than half the shots I take bouncing off and failing to penetrate while my Abrams just dies as soon as it’s glanced by anything.
And let us not forget 2A7V has nerfed armor and spall liners as of now, but even then.
I gave Germany and others DM73, which would be M829A4’s equivalent and next service round. I don’t think anything is even known about DM83 yet hahah
Yes but is that more of a play style issue or a vehicle issue? Why is it that players in the Ariete and Merkavas can perform significantly better than most Abrams players despite having significantly worse everything?
I dont need an answer now, that’s a question for you to ponder on.
