A Challenger 2 in 11.7 matchmaking is abysmal anyways, regardless of what shell type it uses.
And I repeat: It doesn’t need a shell to compete at 12.3 if it never gets 12.3 matchmaking, just like current 10.7 vehicles don’t get 11.7 matchmaking.
I also provided the OES and TES with L27 as compensation for their massively hampered mobility.
Go play a 10.7 vehicle right now, tell me how many downtiers you receive as opposed to full 11.7 uptiers.
That is not a counter question its the same question. If we want perfect balance in WT then the tanks would have the same stats but just be a collection of different shaped pixels. We are back to 1980 then with the way tank games were.
Gaijin has stated that it has an interest in creating balance in different ways such as a line up overall.
I do wonder what people want when they mention balance. Is the word balance just something players on here use without ever thinking about what it means in this game?
I do not wish to shit talk, but it is not unusual for the players in this community to favour the “balance” towards their own bias. This whole thread is essentially what it is all about.
Where is the balance in a full uptier for the individual player? It comes from having a balanced team overall and it comes from hopefully being downtierd as much as up(in theory) so it may appear unfair but actually is not. USA has big cover for a supposedly bad MBT in many ways.
Surely if anybody should be complaining on here about top tier it would be the small nations where balance from CAS or a full line up overall is not there.
Oh Chinese players are definitely crying about their tanks being “not up to standard”, you just don’t hear as much of them usually (at least until Russia gets an upgrade that the Chinese doesnt get lol)
Japanese players are far and few, so their voices aren’t heard as much, at least it isn’t Israel tho.
I am sure everybody does to a degree but nowhere near the same scale and with such a comprehensive line up as the USA has.Is it not recognized that top tier is very difficult for all players but at least if you have the chance to make a good line up that is half the battle.
If you check the Win Rate chart then Germany mid tier shows similar poor WR with what is recognized as a very strong line up in that BR range yet blame is placed solely on the players there.
@SPANISH_AVENGER
I put words into my own mouth? Oh no… the horror…
What’s wrong with me putting my own words into my own mouth? If that is indeed what I did…
Cause all I see me doing is stating a fact that I’ve observed over the years.
No evidence of me doing anything else.
There’s a very strong parallel here with top tier US and mid tier Germany, the players constantly cry about how their tanks are shit when it’s clearly not, and says that it either needs to be buffed or have its BRs lowered. Yet somehow it’s almost always that one factor affecting those two BR ranges, the players themselves, and it’s not something they will admit.
It is interesting to see how well Israel do with what little they have as a line up.So is it the line up or the players ?
If the issue is about a nation of players having conned themselves into believing their line up is so poor they can never win and subsequently fleeing every battle(ODL) thus leading to poor WR = lack of confidence ,then its a vicious circle.
Bad WR = lack of confidence = ODL = bad WR = lack of confidence = so it goes on ,Ad Infinitum
The good news then is that the USA players have everything they need to turn it around.A bit of faith and a bit more determination. Maybe mixed with less time spent on chat.
This is a list I elaborated within a hour, while playing music and drinking Coca-Cola, without butchering any vehicle’s historical capabilities by nerfing them into the ground and with a few extra additions.
Let me know what you think! I can and will polish it, but, in general, I believe accuracy and realism should never be sacrificed for balance (specially with questionable results), the same way balance should never be sacrificed just to avoid proper decompression.
