Honestly I think people forget that the M1 family as a whole is not backed up by good lineups past 10.3. The nations that are doing really well right now (Germany, Sweden, Russia) all have very good MBTs, very good CAS, very good SPAA, and at least ok light tanks. Meanwhile the US has some MBTs that are only of average performance, has very few light tanks (and the HSTV(L) is very overtiered), and straight up just does not have an SPAA past 10.3. It’s one saving grace is CAS, but even there it is outranged in both ground-to-air (the Pantsir) and air-to-ground (the Su-25SM3).

The fact that his WR in the KVT is so much worse than in the 2A4, despite the former being the better MBT, speaks volumes about the quality of US teams at higher BRs.

I agree with what you are saying but minor nations such as Britain, Israel also have poor lineups past 10.3 (Britain having no high tier light and effectively the same aa, Israel even worse) yet these nations have a higher win rate i think it is a mixture of poor lineups and not using the m1 to its advantages

Britain has one of, if not the best 10.3 lineups in game atm and their MBTs are fairly similar from the chally 2 up to the chally 3 in the sense you can put them all in a lineup with some CAS and make them work. Israel on the other hand needs some help with ground, then I will give the Merkava 4s a go.

Basing on your BR decompression suggestion:
13.0/12.7:
Not in dreams T-80BVM deserves 13.0, it’s a bad vehicle, now, let’s say a more mobile variant i.e Obr. 2023 now this one can easily go to 13.0. I’d suggest T-90M as this one have better armor. TKX and Type 10 can also go to 13.0, despite not having much armor, it’s a very mobile machine, easy to play, and when only facing the target to front and protecting the LFP you can easily block some shots.

Leclerc, atleast the AZUR can be on 12.7, the vehicle isn’t bad, same with the Sep V2. Specifically Leopard 2A5 can stays at 11.7.
12.0:
ZTZ-99A and VT-4A1 can easily go to 13.0, good armor, solid armament, isn’t a bad vehicle, specially VT-4A1, has better mobility that any Chinese MBT we have in-game.
Challenger 3TD can also go to 13.0 or at least 12.7.
IPM1 it’s a M1128 Wolfpack with armor, can stays at 11.7. With 5,0s reload shooting M900, isn’t a issue.
BVM has significantly less armor than T-90M and should be a lower BR than it.
The only thing BVM has over T-90M is reverse speed.
BVM is the M1A1 AIM to the T-90M’s Strv 122’s armor.
Your list is too separated as well.13.0 has no reason to exist cause all but BVM should be 12.7 instead.
They’re not major changes over the 12.3s.
A reminder that BVM fires “the 3rd worst round” for top MBTs. I have to quote that cause I don’t personally use that language.
Oh I do agree but you also debate in bad faith as well. I’ve seen you multiple times completely ignoring strong points I made and start picking and choosing parts of it without using the full context. You are no better than the people you criticize. Now onto what you brought up. Armor is subjective however my definition of armor is the amount of weakspots there is on a tank. The abrams is a lot more and bigger weakspots when comparing it to the top nations that are dominating top tier. The turret is strong, i’ll give it that but the majority of the maps are either cqc or doesn’t have much places to go hull down. The abrams excels when it’s hull down.
It ultimately depends what the player wants in a tank. If they want mobility, the t80 is their pick, if they want armor, the t90 is their choice. though both tanks are classified as an mbt, their role and play styles are completely different.
Ammo in top tier doesn’t really play a big role because unless it can pen a cheeks of the turret or the hull, majority of the shots will be shot towards weakspots. Like I said in the beginning, the T80/90 have better armor than the abrams, and with the addition of modules, majority if not some shots to the ammo will be absorbed by the autoloader leading them to survive first shot engagements
You’re absolutely right about team skill being a deciding factor of who wins. That one of the reasons why I hate these these types of post even though I agree with some points they make, they fail to emphasize the importance of team coordination/skill (edit). If we can filter out low level premium users from joining experienced players, that can be the first step into improving top tier (as a whole). In addition, we can get accurate WR by filtering out them from the statistics.

It was never about the tank to begin with, almost every US top tier games that I played and lost is a combination of the insanely horrid spam of premium players and people just one spawn leaving without even bothering to fight back.
Give these same premium spammers and one death leavers a Leopard 2A7 or Strv 122 or even T-80BVM and the result would be the same.
