which no one uses, because adequate people do not carry more than 21 rounds in T series tanks
In general, all T-series tanks, starting with the T-64a, should have anti-fragmentation lining. In one implementation or another
You just said they used it.
Also, it’s 23 rounds.
29 for T-80.
The first and most important rule of playing T-tanks is to never drive a fully loaded loader. You will never fire it completely, but when you hit it, the chance to die from a ammo explosion increases dramatically compared to if you were traveling with 18-21 shells
I’ve fired out of ammo entirely more times than you clearly have.
Like to camp?
Camping would explain why you don’t fire many rounds…
I play aggresive. Sometimes too aggresive
AlvisWisla aka Razorvon likes to come to a thread and argue against anyone and everyone that has a different opinion than him. Particularly anyone who has a negative opinion about Gaijin decisions or the opinion that anything is unbalanced in RU favor.
Instead of just stating his opinion he will sit and argue endlessly.
But most importantly he often has minimal experience with what he is talking about.
He has 4 games in the T-90 and 128 in the T80BVM.
Just an FYI in case you want to save yourself the headache of engaging him
@_Woe
Weird of you to claim I’ve argued against myself… since I am one of the many people with opinions “negative” about some Gaijin decisions.
Weird of you to claim that you’re the only person on the planet with experience too…
Keep defaming all of WT’s critics and defending Gaijin, Woe.
I carry 14 rounds on every Russian tank hahah
Carrying more than that seems like a suicidal idea to me, I never expected someone to suggest that T-90M is better because it has “safer ammo storage” when said filling up that “safer ammo storage” involves having filled the whole carousel before, AKA taking 23+ rounds in T-90M’s case.
I have too- and what I do on those very rare cases is to replenish ammo at the caps.
In fact, I always replenish ammo anytime I am near a cap.
I have got +10-0 matches carrying 14 shells without ever depleting my ammo capacity- it’s basic load management.
T-80BVM is inferior, cause if speed was everything, IPM1 would be 11.7.
And the difference in speed between BVM and 90M is closer to the difference in speed between SEP2 and M1A2.
As I said, the reverse speed is really the only benefit of BVM, but you lose over half the turret armor for that privilege.
I’m sorry but your comparing an abrams with another abrams, they use the same engine and tranny, with a few upgrades to them but still, the t90m uses a completely different engine and tranny than the T80BVM
honestly they should just get rid of spall liners unless they plan on adding them to every MBT, thats just me
90m has a bit tougher turret even w/o ERA
I just want all vehicles to be true, authentic, realistic and faithful depictions of their real life counterparts :(
Instead, we keep getting mantlet nerfs, spall liner nerfs, composite nerfs, armor nerfs… etc…
I think balance would be much easier if, instead of artificially manipulating vehicles’ capabilities, they were just real life accurate as claimed by the official website and then they were balanced around counterparts and BRs.
Spall liners were too strong
its a game not a simulator i get trying to be close but with any tank past 1980s they wont be accurate at all due to classified info, so its best to do balance first then as more info comes out implement said info and balance again. Instead we just add a feature and neglect every nation minus the 4 that got it. And thats excluding USA, the bradleys spall liners a joke to the point it doesnt exist.
BVM is 26.6 HP/t. 22.06 for T-90M.
A 2 second difference.
Oh wow, SEP2 accelerates just as fast as T-90M.
And M1A1 AIM, since you complained about the HC. Oh look, same acceleration as T-80BVM.
Wow, the same difference.
Both firing a round better than 3BM60.
Granted, I prefer the HC cause it looks cooler, and gen 1 thermals are still good enough.
Also, as your screenshot shows the only “weakspot” is the T-90M’s breech.
Whereas the entire turret is the T-80B’s weakspot.
added weight on the sepv2 tusk kit yeah its gonna be slower
The T80BVM, and T90m are literally 2 different tanks internally with 2 different trannys, engines, and autoloaders.
Yet look what pops up when you share War Thunder:
“Play for free with friends in the most realistic online game.”
War Thunder was always meant to depict vehicles as faithful and authentic replicas of their real life counterparts:
There are lots of ways to balance vehicles in such a game. Artificially manipulating their technical capabilities is the ONE way that should never be used, even according to Gaijin. I would have to look for it, but I Stona and Smin have stated repeatedly in the past that “artificially manipulating vehicle capabilities is unacceptable” and that “if something is inaccurate is not intended and must be bug reported”.
