It even says online GAME
The most realistic one at that.
Not even “one of the most realistic” ones: but THE most realistic one.
With “highly detailed (…) ground vehicles crafted carefully from historical documents and surviving sources”.
Can you imagine reducing Tiger II’s front turret armor from 185mm to 50mm because “185mm is too strong and it’s a game, so it must be nerfed for balance”? If it sounds ridiculous with WW2 vehicles, that’s how it sounds with modern vehicles too.
There are plenity of ways to balance vehicles out, starting with Battle Rating, the primary system specifically created to balance the game, and continuing with soft stats such as rates of fire. There absolutely is no need to butcher a vehicle’s depiction so that “it is balanced” (even though said nerf does anything but “balancing” out anything).
And why do you think SEPv2 is considered to be the worst Top Abrams and there are countless requests and even bug reports to allow us to uninstall TUSK II from it? xD
USA top tier needs normal players. I was left alone in the team, so the KD dropped. Before this there were 2 deaths and 4 kills. I was stupidly beaten by a crowd
This doesn’t necessarily mean that they will model/depict every vehicle 100% accurrate and true to irl. It just means that they model/depict them more accurately than their counterparts.
Given that those counterparts were for the longest time only really WoT and AW, that isn’t really a high bar to clear.
Again, it says highly detailed, not “100% uber super recreated from their irl counterparts”.
Wow this is a really useful conversation lol
Does anybody on here play USA top tier on a regular basis and do consistently well and have the stats to prove it?
You mean myself?
The only time I did poorly was stock grind of SEP1 cause teams weren’t letting me be support with HEATFS.
Outside that, tanks are smooth.
It’s not and this is not even an opinion thing.
The bad mobility of the T90M just limits you in too many ways in top tier, where mobility is king.
What limited mobility? It’s literally above average in mobility for 11.7.
Almost as good as Leopard 2A7V’s forward mobility.
Can’t test drive Leopard 2A7V, but it has a lower power to weight to this Leopard 2A5 PSO:
“Mobility is king” is a statement when the differences in mobility isn’t <2 seconds acceleration to 50kph.
And all are <0.5 seconds within each other for 30kph.
When mobility and armor comes in the same tank it controls TOP TIER, Sweden has the highest winrates because of its superior armor and mobility, thats where the SEPV2,SEP cannot compete, even mobility now is super bad compared to other Abrams variants.
You know that mobility isn’t just driving forwards in straight line on a plane road right ?
Yea, sweden strv122lgbtq++ is by far the best top tier tank right now.
Also the 6.5 vs 7.1 reload
More than half a second slower.
A 7.1 reload when everyone else has a 6, 5 and even 4s one.
6.5 is slower than the rest, but at least not by such a large margin.
7.1 seconds is just unbearable xd
Glad you figured that out.
And with that, you know acceleration when nearly identical to “emergency” speeds that the minor differences in turning don’t matter too much.
Reverse, which is used for sniping, is a good tool.
Less useful on CQC maps though where you’re more on about getting to different positions.
And despite having effectively similar mobility as Leopard 2A7V and slightly better armor than 2A7V.
T-90M is obviously superior to the T-80B [VM] that’s ever so slightly faster in the forward direction, and a reverse speed for sniping despite not having the turret armor for sniping.
Also @SPANISH_AVENGER
7.1 seconds is faster than 12 seconds of fastest repair of the breech.
Exactly.
On a field, a tank like T-80BVM does not lose speed and, if it loses any speed, recovers it really quick.
On the same field, a tank like T-90M will often lose speed and take longer to recover it.
Not to mention the lower top speed by 10 km/h as well.
And somehow Sweden in real life is far inferior to other nations capabilities like Russia,US,China, but still in this “realistic” game they’re superior to every tank? How?
A T-90M and a Leopard 2A7V come face to face.
They both shoot at the same time, but they both miss by hitting each other’s composite armor.
In 6-6.4 seconds, Leopard 2A7V will be ready to shoot again.
In 6-6.4 seconds, T-90M will… be dead.
Meanwhile, in the same scenario, a T-80BVM is way more likely to have the chance to return fire effectively.
I know better than to argue with you and let you in the believe the T90M is superior.
Or just reverse into cover and reset.
Which the leo also can do…
