The Su-30SM2 has a report to get a few more CMs, so that should get implemented. And then both the EFT and Rafale should get sensor fusion. It wouldn’t be fair to only give sensor fusion to EFT when the Rafale has it also irl. Same for signature reduction. So yes, upon moving them all up to 15.0, all 3 should get buffed again and have reports enacted.
Both have sensor fusion rn no?
I am not aware of this MCM meta other than a few players here and there, definitely not prominent enough to put my K/D in eft under 2, so it’s still perfectly OP
Sure on the sensor fusion front.
but then Im still of the opinion the ECRS Typhoons would also need:
- BOL Fixes
- FM/Instructor buffs and Fixes
- Weapon buffs and fixes (Aim-9M, Aim-120C5, even the 27mm has the wrong ammo at the moment)
- Also got the EvoDASS upgrades to consider (like increasing the LCM from 32 to 150)
- PIRATE is underperforming loads at the moment
So I would say that the Typhoon is in need of the greatest number of buffs to balance it vs the Rafale and Su-30SM2 at the moment
I’m only talking about the F-15C’s internals, and flight performance
Not really, things like IRST and Radar at the same time, being able to use the RWR to target things. Heck, both dont even get internal ESM. Typhoon and maybe the Rafale? can use IRST as MAWS too
(heck, the typhoon cant even fire AMRAAM using IRST at the moment)
No they have countermeasure fusion basically, where the countermeasure parts of the plane is “fused” ignoring ECM because no plane has that anyways. But there’s no sensor fusion where the plane uses both the IRST, ESM, and radar all at one time displayed on the same screen, and all contacts are displayed on there regardless of what sensor picked it up, and can fire against any of the contacts despite whatever sensor picked it up.
It would also mean that the EFT and Rafale can’t be “notched” because if the radar gets notched, then the IRST or ESM takes over and helps keep the radar updated as well.
All 3 should be buffed but of course each of them on a case by case basis on how severe their need of buffs are. Su-30SM2 doesn’t have a lot that can be buffed anyway, but the single buff I can think of also fixes its biggest drawback which is countermeasures, so both the Rafale and EFT would need some buffs to compensate with that, although ofc EFT-AESA may need a bit more on top as well.
This is largely what I mean. Out of the 3, it would need the greatest share and right here, right now. I dont know if it is quite good enough to be 15.0 without at least some buffs to get the ball rolling.
But Gaijin seem to really hate the Typhoon at the moment, dont even have the UV filter yet
Also the comment wasn’t really directed at you but the person I replied to who when someone else had the same opinion as you made that suggestion he came out to cry that it was a nation being greedy wanting that missile earlier yet didn’t do it when it’s a US post. Its a double standard being a nation main lmao.
Now as for your comment about top tier it’s because I have a certain preference for the US where I think they are the most fun and asking for 9X without anyone else getting other equivalent missiles is silly and very much cope posting.
I look forward to more US additions but I think asking for 9X because the 9M is a bad take, when everyone gets next gen missiles I will await the 9X missile but for now I don’t think 9X is the right way to go about fixes and buffs for US aircraft. My comment isn’t meant to be rude but when others instigate and begin with name calling then I have no reason to be respectful either.
If better IR is the goal just add AIM-9M-8/9/10
or AIM-9R
could be an interesting gimmick but since its IIR idk if it should be added until other IIR as maybe a lower BR option.
if its considered ok by gaijin, then it wouldnt be a terrible way to test and IIR seeker AAM since its kinematics arent OP
yeah it would be an interesting addition, and I could see it being added to pobit if they want to keep it at 14.3 without being overpowered
along with possibly being added for F15CGE or superhornet with it being moved to 14.7 if they want a US plane to be 14.7
idk, even if F-15C isnt a very good dogfighter at top tier AIM-9R would still be quite OP. it would be interesting if it ended up on an AV-8B+ late, as long as there is evidence for compatibility
idk, I think it would depend on how they model the seeker and its lock ranges
because if it retains 9m lock range it would probably not be too OP
this should be possible, but I doubt they would add an AV-8B+ late over a number of other late versions they could put in the US tech tree

it will completely outclass the 9M seeker
it should
however they seem very opposed to increasing ranges of IR sensors
as seen by the in game ranges of IRST systems, manpads, and even the AIM-9M which is massively under preforming in detection range
or total refusal to add Dechirped Aim-9Ls
I don’t think they hate the Typhoon, you might have to scale down that rhetoric after they’ve been treating the Typhoon really good since the December patch minus last patch. It was probably the most worked on aircraft this year in terms of equipment/weapons additions and fixes. It’s still good enough to be 15.0, just won’t be Su-30SM2 level, just as how the F-15C GE is good enough to be 14.7.
