December update added the Su-30SM2 that got every single bell and whistle possible. The Typhoon got a new radar and 2x extra ARH missiles and no other fixes. Not one.
Eventually it did also get 8x Spice-250s too, but this is short-term stopgap for an actual FnF weapon for the Typhoon that is notably weaker than most still.
March, no changes at all.
This last update. Its CMs were nerfed and it got only 2x ARM where it should have 6. Those 2 also happen to conflict with the A2A pylons, so taking them has a major downside. It did get a partial instructor fix though.
But after 18 months and 2x dev server honeymoon periods, basic issues still ahvent been resolved.
UV filter? nope
Fixed HUD (stretched)? nope
Basic A2G Like SAL Brimstone 2s? Nope
Training rounds removed from the 27mm? Nope. Still has the Tornado belts and not the ones found on the Gripen.
etc etc etc.
heck, if you STT, it will swap to IRST to maintain the lock and block you from firing an AMRAAM. Yes, the Typhoon still has that bug, literally no one else has that bug. Only the Typhoon
So yeah. The Typhoon is rather hated by Gaijin. Buggy FM, some of the weakest loadout in terms of A2A and A2G, Nerfed as hell CMs, cockpit is a total mess, etc etc etc. There is almost no aspect of the Typhoon that is in an accurate state at the moment.
The most basic bug fixes got sorted for the Rafale and Su-30SM2 and F-15C GE, etc etc within days of being reported on their dev server. 18 months later, we are still waiting for those same bug reports to even be looked at.
Yeah that doesn’t count, hence why the Typhoon was the most “worked on aircraft” meaning an existing aircraft that had received changes.
It’s still work that it got although arguably much needed.
Yes that’s true.
Whether it got 2x ARMs instead of 6 doesn’t matter when it still got 2, even if it conflicts with the A2A pylons, you have that option compared with planes that got no ARMs at all. You can’t make every single positive addition or fixes into somehow being a negative thing.
Again, you can’t twist positive fixes/additions into a negative. You’re arguing that because basic negligible things weren’t fixed, then the bigger additions/fixes doesn’t matter, that isn’t true at all. It’s often a pattern that you downplay positive changes/additions. I wouldn’t be surprised if in an alternate reality where Gaijin fixed Typhoon’s basic issues but still left the bigger issues, you would be complaining that the basic issues doesn’t matter and the bigger issues have more impact and are what truly matters. Just say you like the Typhoon and you would like to see more fixes for it including the basic ones, without downplaying the work done so far, that in of itself is a valid point and valid request.
Incorrect, both the Rafale and Typhoon has this bug, but the Russian IRSTs hilariously do not have this problem. I may submit a report soon for both the Typhoon and Rafale.
Again, your argument makes no sense because:
You’re arguing that they didn’t fix the basic issues which has no impact on its performance while they fixed things that does impact its performance.
You’re arguing that the work they did wasn’t enough even though it was more work done on it than any other aircraft.
It’s still one of the best plane in the game.
Again, it is not the only plane in that state. In fact the Rafale is also in the same state where almost no aspect of the Rafale is in an accurate state, it’s just a fact of life that both the Rafale and Typhoon came too early into the game.
I’d rather the bigger issues that actually affects performance to get fixed instead for the Rafale rather than cosmetic small basic bug fixes like the one you complain about.
I was gonna write one for this as well but then i saw F-15EX being mentioned and had to tell them that F-5EX has been confirmed to me in my dreams for next update and in the process forgetting about writing that
“If they give Russia Vihkrs, KH-38MTs, LMURS, and their latest anti-radiation missiles theyre going to have to give it to everyone else”
How is that going? Lol.
Gaijin often delays implementation of peer-adversary weapons when they want to, usually for red teams.
So if the excuse for not adding 1990s tech to make a nation–which has had air dominance for nearly 80 years–is that the developers would nerf it into the ground by just giving everyone else technology developed in 2020, that’s already happening and it is utter bs.
Also, just based on the implementation of the SepV3, i fully expect that by the time the aim-9x is added, it will still be weaker than at least Russia’ China, and probably other nations missiles which are concurrently implemented, and im sure many nations will get their blue-print/brochure/considered-purchasing missiles which will overperform.
No, im saying it will underperform, get the stinger treatment, and/or not get upgrades over previous generations. Additionally, the K-30 will probably get added at the same time and destroy absolutely everything based on specs detailed in a hastily scribbled note from Pladimir Vutin to BVVD
sure the actual stats are prolly never true to the stat card, but the reality is, is that the f15 does go mach 2.5 in real life, so it should be able to do so in game, thats all im saying
I am not saying that it isn’t strong–I am saying that it is not as good in game as it is in real life in several key aspects, such as not having access to M829A4 and having a 1980s LFP, in addition to artificial nerfs wherein any penetrating hit is all but guaranteed to knock out your turret traverse.
SM2 needs a grand total of zero buffs, its the strongest plane in ARB especially if you know what you are doing, even if the plane doesn’t fly itself like the Rafale does.
Out of those three (Rafale, Euro, Su-30SM2), only typhoon could be argued to get a buff after moving to 15.0
That buff literally just being fixing the damn wobble
DirectSupport really only wants the rafale buffed no matter what huh
