Chinese 6th gen’s will probably lag behind The US and Nato, being “first” doesn’t mean best, because they still never even got 5th gen down pat. They learned from it, but didn’t have nearly the excellence an f35 or F22 has. Nor did they learn the same lessons from experience and flight hours/training.
So I’d say, invariably it will lag behind, but I mean don’t go off the handle my my friend, it makes us look ignorant as Americans lol

i will never understand some of the players on this game. They want to use a video of the SU-27 from the 1980 air show, not knowing if they tweaked the engine of the plane to perform way over its safety limits, and then it had no weapons and a unknown amount of fuel, but then want the SU-27 in warthunder to perform like that with a full weapon load and half if not 1/4th it fuel load.

how would carrier based fighters beat air superiority fighters? . THEN YOU are still adding planes that are 30 years newer than the F-15E and they still can’t out perform it. A plane from 2019? this should tll you something if you need that to even be near as comparable to a plane from the 1980s
I think Russia / China are really equal in terms of modern equipment, maybe a year or two behind.
Every nation (except the EU for the most part it seems, and South America) have their benefits where they all research different things, improve on designs differently from one another.

wouldnt matter to me in the slightest. they are inferior planes. The only thing that would be better than the F-15E would by the SU-57 , hell the SU 57 should be even faster than the F-22.
Im going be honest i dont know what gaijin was thinking when they added the F-15E. they should have just added the F-18 and kept it like this for a year. because the F-15E in the nerfed state that it is beats anything added that isn’t 5th generation.

Maybe 20-30 years for Russia due to the collapse of the USSR, but I don’t think China would be that far behind western nations.
Saying they are 50+ years behind is a massive overstatement.
