Well if they stopped nuking the brs of the good USSR spaa, then replacing them with, in this case, the 2s38, then we wouldn’t have to talk about it.

I would say the ZSU-23 with iglas, as the iglas are worse than the stingers.
Strela can’t really be downtiered because it would be way too powerful for 10.0
You should try playing arma , cause that 10 year old game got the hellfires trajectory better than gaijin which is crazy

Arma is one arguably of the most realistic games for vehicular combat already other than the planes , we dont talk about those with 40 degree per second turn rates . BUT even in arma it achknowledges that hellfires have the ability to switch between modes for hellfire on the go , not in the armory or on an airfield .
Yet gaijin says " we’ve only seen them loft so they will only loft " is a very ridiculous arguement.
This switching of the top attach and direct attack is present on ALL hellfire varients , not just the agm114L’s or agm114N’s or any other model of hellfire that isnt in the game

As for in-air mode switching, zero helicopter AGMs have this feature at this time in-game.
Vikhr’s proxy warhead should be toggled from a cockpit switch prior to launch.
This does not impact the flight path of the missile, it’s not quite the same thing.
The -114L-8A has a similar capability, with the added proximity fuse.
Additionally the AGM-114R-2 has a similar capability except it’s an airburst / impact fuse that improves blast & fragmentation effect against certain light and unarmored target sets.
If they buff these to be realistic, I want the Vikhirs to go back to the realistic 1000mm penetration.
all weapons are balanced on their own. this thread is for us helicopters if you want vikhrs to have their pen changed make a post about it. this is about hellfire.

Vikhir = too powerful = gets nerfed
hellfire becomes too powerful = gets nerfed.
but it wont become too powerful
hellfire is currently too weak while vikhr is fine
hellfire never was too powerful, it wasn’t nerfed. it has been underperforming since launch
