Playing smart, you can minimise the amount of notching you need to do.

Nah, I cant do that. I paly the long game, I run max fuel and a centre line tank just to avoid needing to RTB too early due to fuel.

Yeah because you have the speed to get out of the way of most people’s radars. Then you are in a very good plane that can very easily beat the LSZ of whoever you cut off flanking

The point I was making. with the right tactics, its possible to make even aircraft with weak FMs work. F3 at 12.0/12.3 is in near identical situation to the F-15C GE is at 14.3 imo.
The tactic I use on the Typhoon, Flank left early game, and aim to hit the enemy team in the side or rear. is exactly how I usually play the F3 at 12.0, and using that tactic, I have routinely performed respectively well, even against full uptiers. Managing to even score a long range SARH kill vs an F-15A who should have beaten me easily.
Same logic imo, applies to the F-15C GE. Instead of focusing on charging straight down the middle of the map spamming AMRAAMs, perhaps a more defensive mid to late game focus would actually help it a lot.
Id not be surprised if a small factor as to why the British Typhoon seems to do a little better, is all that F3 experience coming into play.

Nor does it mean the F3 should be a lower BR because it cant win a dogfight vs an F-18 or F-16 only 0.3 higher. Or even the F-4s at the same BR
Though Id actually advocate for it going to 12.3 with the right buffs. Like fixing BOL, adding Phimat and maybe adding combat thrust
I feel like your lost here you do realize the Br gap here would only be 14.3 to 14.7 right?? this isnt some large gap they would still see each other every game it would only adjust how many you see a little bit
