Im gunna wait for the Jan 2026 data before I commit to agreeing or disagreeing with that. Dec data shows it performing on-par to the 2/3 AESA Typhoons at the moment. Though that can be largely explained by MICA EM/R-77-1 advantage over AMRAAM and if AMRAAM was ever fixed, we’ll ahve to see how the dynamic changes
it doesnt have a UFO FM like the Rafale though, or sphere rwr, or MAWS
the AMBER racks just put it more on par with the base Su-30SM which is its most direct counterpart currently

that still only gives it 2 more missiles that the average 10 at 14.3

No, but it has a larger missile count.
Fighting Su-30SMs was always really tricky in the Typhoon last year, because they could just keep you suppressed, even though the Typhoon had a better FM.
Much the same applies in the F-15C GE vs those. Granted, AMRAAM isnt doing all that healthy, but I think the point still stands.
Played in the right way, an F-15C GE has the potential to be really really strong
same with every other 14.3
they could only suppress you that well because of their busted missile loadout, which in raw numbers the GE is still worse btw, let alone performance of the missiles

The GE is even better than the sm in some cases. Better RWR and way more CM. It just has slightly worse AAM. Su30s can’t even pre notch with their buffed fm half the time cause they’re half blind. I think the RWR as people said in other threads is still underperfoming for the su30. The su30 pushes with their missiles, but the f15ge can see and defend. And then they can attack and run the su30 dry of cm and missiles.
right, so they have to defend only for a better aircraft to go and take the kill? or another aircraft to exit the notch faster and accelerate faster to the Su-30?

Sure, its not quite as strong as the best airframes. But lets say they buff AMRAAM, give it a better seeker, and fix some of the old flight model issues. Couple with BOL fixes.

Im still rather surprised by the Typhoon getting the missile count buff. I was expecting them to bury any information if it was found, the onyl reason they would have done that though, is if they thought the typhoon needed that buff
America is a mid/late game fighter. Has been for a while. They can’t be agressive at the beginning.
no. youll see this is typically what i want for the GE, maybe throw in an IRST pod/a2a TGP functionality which does help you out as well.
this is where you are wrong. the only place where the F-15 is more evenly matched (BVR, and it is still outclassed there) are only really set up for early game. in mid to late game its closer ranges typically

Or it will add more mass and drag without much gain. As CollectorOfSins said. IRST is a bit of a gimmick at the moment. its hard to really get a lot of value out of it.
but the ARMAAM, Aim-9M and BOL buffs would all also affect Typhoon. So is it purely just its performance vs the Su-30SM2 and Rafale which have better missiels that matters?
i mean they could add EPAWSS to it as well. that would be nice.

Beginning: Typhoons and SM2 ripple fire into the furball. Many of them die.
Middle: Everyone that survives fights on the ground. This is where the F15ge shines after sideclimbing/flanking hopefully high up so they can see everything. Defend against other enemies high up still and then focus on the multipathing planes.
Late: Only 3-4 players remain. Rearm/refuel and the F15ge can enjoy the empty space more.
So, you give it better missiles (though still keeping it on par with the Typhoon)
You buff the CMs (though again, it still has the same as the Typhoon)
You give it optional IRST and MAWS (that would probably mostly just add drag)
And you would consider it now 14.7 worthy?

nah it would do fine at 14.3. all this would make it more comparable to the Su-30MKM or SM which like i said, is its most direct counterpart
or you now have to 1v5 and a quad of rafales since your team all died at stage 1

Whats funny is I love flanking in the Typhoon, cut off 1-2 people trying to flank and then just kill anyone trying to run back to base for a rearm. They never expect a Typhoon at 20k ft sat between tehir AFs and the centre of the map :D
