It is, quite common actually, I doubt there is a single tpod at top tier that cant do it (bar maybe LANTIRN?)
yeah… also a decent interface would also be nice, especially if it came with the TWS modes for IRST
good thing there is another upgrade for EOTS/DAS planned

F-22 MLU, no. earlier F-22 maybe. depends on version of each. even then the stealth makes it even compared to biased to one side like it would be otherwise
well the F-35 ones are way newer and F-35 was always meant to focus on top of the line advanced defensive systems
im saying ERCS mk2’s only real advantage is gimbal, what the APG-81 page says and what ERCS mk2 says has a lot of the same stuff

Hold on dev explain many time that 2 ammo exploding cant kill abd blow out ammo work.
But 10 ammo will have enough tnt explosion to kill the crew.

which would still lead to the same thing happening where gimbal is the advantage (which is still respectable but not that decisive)

We’ve had this discussion before, The devs don’t know what their talking abt, blowout panels are made to withstand all ammo carried.
If u look at 2:45 at the last video i linked u can hear them clearly say “HEAT rounds exploding” proving u wrong

AIM-260 is a fair point, it may very well be tested on an F-35 by the end of the year.
But I do not mention features that both aircraft have, such as towed decoy because it effectively is canceled out. If both the F-35 and EFT have towed decoy, it’s not gonna be mentioned. I only mentioned things on that list that is unique to each aircraft. Similarly, Sidekick is not mentioned because EFT still retains missile quantity advantage so that goes to the EFT.

By that standard though, I shouldn’t mention that the F-35’s IRST is better and can guide it in BVR while also compensating the radar while the target is in a notch., or that it has spherical IRST, since it should be enough that EFT has IRST (even if it’s inferior).
Gaijin can just as easily give the CR3(P4) a 5 second reload if they want to without touching the CR3 TD reload.
