When I open the updating window, it tells me that a file in compiledshaders already has the same name as a new one, and tells me that i need to remove it to continue the update. However, when I try to remove it, I am told that the file is already in use, although War Thunder isn’t even open. It then prevents me from deleting the file. I don’t quite understand what is happening, but for reference this became a problem for me at about 29:00 GMT.
Reboot your machine and delete the contents of the compiledShaders folder without opening the launcher?
Then give it a go to update.
