Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
Silence hoplite, the most important VTOL issue has been resolved by the most glorious gaijin devs.
No more must you hear the sound of an engine based on throttle but you will now hear it based on RPM. (despite it not even being the harriers engine noise anyways)
All other harrier reports are simply false because the glorious gaijin devs have deemed them so. Their wisdom far exceeds that of the multiple prestigious establishments whose documents have been cited.
For anyone curious from outside the harrier you can hear the distinctive whine of the bypass fan. It sounds a bit like a supercharge except it’s running at 30,000 horsepower.
Inside the cockpit there is a buzzsaw sound coming from the fan that’s basically right under your seat.
Literally sounds like a chop saw cutting something.
