Sound
A bug with engine RPM value updates that sometimes caused allied/enemy ground vehicle engines to sound unnaturally quiet has been fixed.
Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.
This is great and all but can we remove PIP mode for drones or something? I really don’t like not being able to shootdown a drone that is kilometers away and lets someone scout my entire team from their spawn. The only real ways to shoot them down is with proxy or a missile and neither are very practical for 90% of vehicles in the game. And at lower BR’s like 8.0 where you can still see there isn’t really any vehicle that can shoot them besides the WZ305.
Before the last major update when you got off your drone to scout someone that was very far away there was a chance they could de-render or move away and you would have a cooldown but with PIP it’s almost impossible to miss now.
Now the Mig-23 radar in manual mode can operate in MPI mode if you lower the nose below the horizon.
Now it is not enough to lower the antenna below the horizon, it is necessary for the plane to fly into the ground. This is simply absurd!
The screen is in the automatic horizon mode, pay attention to the position of the antenna and the fact that the MPI mode is enabled.
Also, turning on the MPI mode in manual mode does not correspond to the level in the automatic horizon mode.
Magic: the nose of the plane looks at the ground, and the antenna at the sky. Which mode should be enabled? Is it the MPI?
When is the missing ESS going to be added for the M247? I figured it would at least happen with the introduction of the M246, or after two years of the report.
But there’s so many discrepancies in that logic, that tons of aircraft have different icons for using bombs of the same weight. So long as different bombs on the same aircraft have different icons, is there really an issue?
