Aircraft

  • Sinai — a bug that caused aircraft to crash into an invisible obstacle when taking off from the runway has been fixed. (Report). Missions in this location are again available in Air Battles.

Matchmaking

  • Mirage 2000-5Ei — BR in Tank RB has been increased to 12.7.
  • J-7D — BR in Air RB has been decreased to 10.7 and in Air SB to 11.0.
  • J35XS — BR in Air RB and SB has been decreased to 10.7.

Graphics

  • A bug that permanently blurred the canopy when in cockpit view as a result of harsh movements with motion blur enabled has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused bombs in the bomb bay to be visible through the aircraft in-battle, as they are in the secondary weapons menu, has been fixed.

Patch notes reflect only key changes, meaning they may not include a complete list of all improvements made. Additionally, War Thunder is constantly being updated and some changes may not require an update. Changes reflected in patch notes are formed by taking reactions and requests of the community from the bug reporting service, forums and other official platforms into account. Bug fixes and changes are implemented in order of importance, for example a game-breaking bug will be worked on and implemented sooner.

cool balance changes, what about :
A-7K being 11.3 (and A-7E at 10.7)
AMX A-1A being 11.3
mirage 2000D-R1 being 12.3 and Mirage 2000D-RMV being 12.7 (who is deciding these)
British phantoms at 12.0?

These balance changes keep forcing planes down that, if the game was decompressed to 14.3 or higher, would not need to go down.

Can’t wait to see my T-2 and AV-8As eats PL-5Bs that is launched from space.

Compression is insane, devs are gonna swap “slow attackers with all aspect missiles” which are kind of avoidable and easily killable to “supersonics that have very powerful rear-aspect missiles and are untouchable in a full down tier”

J-7D was not a good change, the J35 XS WAS a good change as no RWR and 12 countermeasures is a considerable downside (0.3 above the J35D which has 2 less missiles and NO countermeasures)

PostFX has not changed at all for me, same as it ever was . . .

It’s simply incomprehensible not to see the top tier of Air RB at 14.3 or 14.7… Why insist so much on the suffering of players below 13.7? The game has hundreds of vehicles, but only a few dozen are playable because you’re forced to use the most OP vehicle possible… I’m tired of this.

The J-7D is one of the strongest planes in Air RB to play at 11.0… and it’s getting a BR reduction? Is that for real? Insane.

Definitely want to add my voice in that the J-7D is fine at 11.0, it’s a slightly less maneuverable J-7E.

Was looking for motivation to do a little more grinding with the J-7D. Those poor MiG-23BNs will never make it to base now…

The J-35XS change is bad too, but the J-7D is egregious.

The J7-D was perfect at 11.0. Now its the same as the SMT and MF? Thats wild!

How about instead of doing stuff like this and compressing the BR to this extreme, we increase the max BR by at least another full BR and start decompressing 11.0-13.7!

So no br reduction for F20 which is inferior to Mirage2000’s in every way that sits at 12.3 but for J7D and J35XS?

incredible huh. F20 suffers all day long. Mirage 2000D at the same BR as their Radar missiles and internal gun counterparts.

Just need the sea harrier FRS1 to move down to 11.0 in SB and the F3 Late to move down to 13.0 in all gamemodes

The Kfir Canard sits there mostly bc people use it to bomb, so even the worst players can get some decent points.

Remember, most of the balancing is based on efficiency, a.k.a. how much a vehicle earns in relation to its contemporaries at a given BR. So a base bomber will always go up until it gets intercepted a decent amount of time on global average, especially if it can also grab some air to air kills afterwards.

It’s literally the only reason why the J35XS was 11.3 at one point, when most people used it to rocket a base first back when it was possible, artificially increasing the efficiency considerably.

How lucky I am, new update, they touch the graphical issue, and now vsync doesn’t work.
Every time they update something related to graphics I shudder with terror, because these developers fix one bug and create three new ones.

Im getting pushed to 11.7 all the time in the J-7D so the BR change actually changes nothing xD
