you know the sad part? they keep adding arcade stuff to sim but we still don’t have IFF in STT mode for planes that had them.

It would solve big issue with sim, which is TKs if most planes would have IFF in “track”.
And it would’ve been realistic as this functionality was added even to relatively early airborne radars.

But no - it’s better to dumb down sim back to what we had years ago. Reverse progress.

EDIT: why not go straight to “missiles won’t lock on friendlies and bullets won’t damage them in sim”?

it just came to me - in new system if ally locks me and shoots me with SARH missile I won’t even know :D

Can you please also write actual operators and not only TT where it’s located, to avoid the confusion if it’s possible?

In that scenario you can be sure everyone knows what missions are being flown at the same time… if it’s just you and your wingman up and you’re is the only mission that morning you know anything you see will not be friendly.

Ok. How is this relevant to the discussion? The point still stands. Nothing you can do about that because that’s relevant to operational organization, which has nothing to do with the fact that RWRs cannot IFF.

So what a point of having this band system implementation in game, and not having it for now at ANY gamemod.
Some planes dominate others because one plane can’t see other at RWR? There is thing called Battle Ratings to balance it.
Peoples can missjudge friendly RWR warning from enemy’s? So that’s a point of playing in gamemod which is supposed to be harder then other.

Instead of making environment of toptier sim battle more suitable for current sophysticated simulation of plane systems and weaponry (via mission design/ players limit) gaijins desided to downgrade it from somewhat simulation to arcade level. In sim battles.

Let’s add red markers to enemy players in it BeCaUsE i’Ts HaRd tO IfF aNd SpOt. Why not then.

I guess all the noobs that just brought a premium plane are annoyed and confused at having to use their brains to decipher 1 line from 2 in the radar IFF, and sooooo many dots on the RWR make no sense…

Please don’t dumb down the game more… who asked for RWR IFF?

Can we please get something similar for A2G Missiles + also reflected on helicopters?

There should be a difference between a 4 hellfire loadout and a 16 hellfireloadout, as well as between a 2x Maverick to a 6x Maverick loadout.

Oh yeah now i can spawn a plane for a CAP mission for around 640 sp. Great. It was kinda cool tho. You could have taken the F-15C with 6 AIM-120’s and 2 9M’s and eleminate any CAS aircraft

Actually - IFF in rwr not too bad.
But it must works as: No NATO planes in WP side
And no WP planes in NATO side

Oh no, you cant counter 25SM3 for 500~~ points
You need to do that with same price
When pantsir can do that for 90 SP…

Thats more than possible, MiG-23ML sells goes too bad, that they already made FM better by 0.8G as irl must be, that might be second part.

The ML became useless due to MTI change,the FM change then completely killed it.
