I would say they are nearly equal sidegrades, but I know that would spark people being mad at me because they consider T-90M to be “significantly worse” because it’s a bit slower, so I preferred to list them like this and skip that part, since it doesn’t affect my main point anyways hahahah.
Besides, it does have a slow reload, which is enough to make even myself consider it a tad worse than BVM.

To me, the biggest disadvantage is, indeed, the slower reload. 7.1 seconds is quite slow.

The M1A2 SEP is better than the T-80BVM, If you genuinely believe that the SEP is 10th out of all the top tiers, maybe try improving at top tier so you can get a better grip on the reality that is the abrams are incredibly capable vehicles.

I absolutely prefer having a 370mm KE hull over a 750mm KE one, indeed. Infinitely superior, incredibly capable.
Totally not the KE protection you would expect of a 10.0 tank.
I also love 1/3rd of the frontal profile and whole center of mass being a flat 50mm thick plate that leads to 3-4 crew members dead whenever it’s glanced at. So overpowered.
You are completly ignoring all the M1A2 advantages over the T90M

I disagree with great many things, but it would derive in an endless discussion loop xD
The lower front plate of the abrams is not a main weakspot, as you will almost only ever get driver + engine. The upper front plate bounces every APFSDS in the game. If you are wanting to cope about any weakspot, cope about the turret neck, but thats not changing.

the BVM absolutely has a better hull yes, but the SEP has a better turret, better firepower (reload, shell, gun handling), better overal mobility (actual reverse, can turn on the spot). yes, the BVM is harder to onetap frontally, yes the BVM goes faster forwards. Overall the SEP is simply better tho.

Ugh, for God’s sake… don’t you all realise how hard you are going over the Abrams tanks getting ONE improvement?
Can’t you just be happy for the Abrams and move on to try and achieve similar improvements for whichever tanks you consider them to be necessary for instead of being so bitter about another tank receiving one improvement?
So the Abrams has better protection, mobility, firepower, and now equal reload to the challenger 2s…
I really hope they do commit to reworking the CR2/3, because it’s a disgrace at the moment.
