No one is denying that it’s better statistically, but those advantages in game mostly are limited to spall increase, as most of the time you’ll be forced to aim at the same old weakspots.
This is why I don’t think DM53 is far better than L27A1.
Calling them far better is a bit of an overstatement.
They have effective turret armor and some even come with the best APS in the game.
Ariete is just a paper bag in comparison.
Italy is quite decent before top tier, just like the UK.
I mean half of the subtrees we have are nothing more than a cheap way to fill up the gaps with copy/paste vehicles to satisfy the average consoomer.
only one of htem has APS, and the turret armour just got made worse due to the “fix” for the model which has opened a portion bellow the breach to the turret ring, somewhat like the abrams.

which is still slower than even T series tanks or if we use your video, on par with the slowest reloading MBTs in game, it requires a full crew and expert on every single CR2 to make it even competitve in the reload department. CR2 with maxed crew but no expert is nearer 8 seconds.
This also doesnt cover the 80 seconds to reload the 4 round ready rack.
EDIT: hell even for the first shot, with a maxed crew and no expert your 5.8 seconds, which is only 0.8 faster than the T80S at top tier, Whilst lacking all their mobility and armour.
And with expert you sit at 5.3.
Its fine, for the first 4 rounds, thats the biggest issue, even if it was 10 rounds it would substantially improve the tank.
Yes true, only advantage that DM53 has is that it can pen the UFP of the T-80Us but overall the gameplay with L27A1 will be the same, aiming for weakspots
DM53 fired from the L/55 cannon can go through every single tanks UFP bar maybe the STRV122, T90M and T80BVM thats it, literally everything else it can cut through easily. even the UFP of a 2A7 it can go clean through… the L27A1 as i said may pen, but it will not cause any damage due to spall and spall liners.
with DM53 you dont have to aim anywhere near as specifically as say DCT10, L27A1, Dm43, JM33 etc

It’s not often that I get my rack emptied in front of ennemies, if my rack is fully emptied in 2 minutes to ennemies means I already have 3-4 kills and won the engagement and have a pause to refill when the ennemies are respawning. I rarely get pushed by 10 ennemies at once alone, and if so I’m cooked anyway no matter reload speed.
the crew very much is maxed in tank loading, and leadership, your video is wrong because at no point does it go to 7.0 seconds, once you go ace i think it drops to 6.5
never had a long range engegement? you dont have to be rushed by many enemies, and the reason the rack runs out is as i said, 20 seconds per round is a massive amount of time, thats as Morvran stated 80 seconds for 4 rounds. thats over a minute and a half with the time to reload inbetween, that also means youre not able to fire etc or it resets it.
i love slop, that dramitically ruins a tree, love the Benelux stuff having barely any unique dutch stuff, when the Dutch army itself is extremely connected with the German military, more so than it is with the benelux union which is economic and politcal.

the A7 while nice, is copy and paste, the alpha jets are CnP even the F5’s are copy and paste which is pure laziness.

This sets a really, really bad precedent. McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom, F-15 Eagle. Boeing super hornet strike eagle, nearly every ww2 bomber. Original Harrier would go to UK, but Av-8B and GR 7 would stay in both US and UK as it’s a joint project. F-16 are made by General Dynamics/Lockheed for the new ones. Not to mention Sherman’s, Patton’s, M60’s, Huey’s, Apaches, Blackhawks, little birds, starfighters, super sabres, sabres, F-5, A-7, Crusaders, A-4’s, all of it
If you found one of those BAE vehicles that’s in service with a nation that isn’t a tree or subtrees it would be fine though
That’s because the LAV-III and Stryker use the exact same hull. Well I don’t know the exact reason this was done, I’m going to guess it was just cheaper/easier to get hulls from the already existing LAV-III production line.
The biggest difference between the two I believe/recall correctly are the turrets, tho there could be some other differences.
