In the future, they may actually model IRSTs that have a laser range finding being detected by it which would be quite useful. That would include something like the Rafale.

Might alert you to the Pantsir S1/SM-SV but Im not sure about that at the moment, ive not touched top tier GRB in nearly a year.

But its pretty niche at the moment. But its the joke I use to explain why the british Typhoon is so far ahead of either the Italian or German Typhoons on StatShark

They make RWR go off so LWS does not help with that, though i think it might be useful against ADATS

Yeah, helps vs the ADATS, but the likelyhood of seeing an ADATS in a Typhoon is nearly 0.

I wasnt sure if either Pantsir had IRST though and could fire and guide without their radar. Like the ADATS can

Nvm, I just remembered Pantsir SM-SV does have IRST but I have never seen anyone use it

My normal approach for the Typhoon, either Typhoon, is sitting at 20-25k ft (usually just below contrail height) and flanking slightly left. Building up speed. I look for more isolated or vulnerable targets, either those off on their own, or those climbing high and clearly above contrail height. (F-15s are really vulnerable up there), or those defending from a shot and their notch will place them in a hard spot to defend against my missile coming in from another angle.

I always just end up defensive the entire game and never manage to kill anyone. Its either trade, or fly defensive tge entire match

My personal experience with C5s is that they don’t get half decent until Mach 1.5+. Firing at like Mach 1.8 they are actually really potent

And I don’t mind being defensive, because it means I’m alive.

And tbf with the change to the fusing on enemy missiles everyone has to play somewhat defensively. When you have on average 10 Fox3 on each airplanes, that’s simply what’s going to happen to anyone that wants to finish the game alive, even a SM2 or rafale.
If someone doesn’t want to play defensively 3/4 of the game, they would not go higher than like 12.0 (or play some 13.3 su30 premium because they won’t face top tier and have a far superior kit to anyone at around their BR)

fgr 4 still slaps hard.
The radar is the worst but that doesn’t stop the EF being the best BVR jet in the game

Min fuel, 8x spamrams. BVR and land- the few games it isnt already over take normal load out. I just played 7 games and its still the easiest way to make silver in the game bar none

Suck hard ?
They definitely aren’t the best, but they also aren’t top tier anymore. They still are pretty ok for their BR.
It’s at the same BR as the F16Cpobit which has an AESA (which is very good), Aim120D (which is basically an AIM120C with no I0G drift, which is maybe better than the A/B in some situations).
Meanwhile, the EFT has much better FM, more missiles, more defensive capabilities. If the EFT suck ass, then basically any other 14.3 air fat should belong to the garbage bin
