Title of post: “Typhoon fgr 4 is the worse jet in top tier”

My post addresses this title by informing OP that it is not in fact the worst jet at top tier. If the post had been “The Typhoon needs radar fixes” I would have been on board.

You are arguing with someone who agrees with you because I called you out on a stupid hyperbole.

Should be live. I do have those issues less than before.
Still not completely fix. But I think it’s going to be a recurring issue just like volumetric armor, so we better get used to it

your video had some great tips thank you

Consistently, no. It may seem ‘consistent’ because you get a Gripen player that hits out 4-5 targets every 4 matches, but you get them on that 4th match where they do decent. The Gripen we currently have is alright for a top tier fighter, but it’s a 4th gen, with a very minimal weapon load, meant to be deployed in a large formation to maximize effectiveness of simply having more aircraft.

When the Gripen E comes in, or even just IRIS-T’s, it will easily be a competitor and act as you currently think it does.

This is coming from the biggest glazer of Swedish military doctrine and equipment, especially SAAB jets.

You at least get a much higher speed, pretty respectable maneuverability, and ‘better’ load of 6x AIM-120B’s and 2x AIM-9M’s, or you can be a total boss and run 6x AIM-9M’s and 4x AIM-120B’s, a total of 2 more missiles for ARH main, and 4 more for IR main loads.

Nah True pros run 4+5 fits :P

N001 is definitely worse, but they dont feel far from eachother atm imo.

Launch more than 1 ARH in BVR and you’ll find just one of the differences

M-Scan one… yes the radar still sucks. But the AESA one, is very good. Sure it sucks they refuse to fix any other bug report for the Typhoons, but Im doing just fine AESA-FGR4

I only have the one with the Captor-M but it just feels off… it feels like you’re flying around a floppy fish it feels so incredibly unstable all the time, not to mention how quickly it locks up makes it difficult to avoid air to air missiles. Yes it obliterates things in a 1v1 but thats not particularly relevant when the enemies have launched 3 missiles at you. Its missile loadout is also kind of subpar with the AIM-9Ms just being straight up bad, the AIM-120Cs not doing anything, and the AIM-120Bs being the only thing that works, but is let down by the radar

Ive not had any issues with the FM, sure it would be nice if it was at full strength, Though it does feel a little squirrelly at high alt at times, but ive not had any issues defending. Actually the state of BOL is causing me waaaaaaay more problems.

9Ms I dont ever bother with firing, but 8x C5s have been working okay, just fire from 20k ft, at Mach 1.5+ at targets within the LSZ and they seem to work fairly well.

Yeah the M-Scan sucks still, but grind out the AESA one

I suppose it doesnt help that I dont really understand how to use ARH missiles properly as I’m a prop main, but still it feels like none of my missile are connecting and the stock grind is murderous. I am finding the Gripen to be more reliable even with the R-Farters

Its possible, dont get me wrong, C5s are from the best, but usable just about.

If you arent even spaded with the FGR4, no wonder you might be having issues

morvran u cant still be sticking up for this goofy ahh jet

Its fine.

AESA Version fixed one of the biggest weaknesses which was the terrible radar.

Sure BOL sucks

and I would love for Aim-9M Overhaul (or ASRAAM) and Aim-120 overhauls

Dont even get me started on the cosmetic issues that drive me nuts.

But otherwise, its a great aircraft, the recent missile count increase has been awesome and I routinely get 3-5 kills per match.

the post is about the fgr.4 not the AESA…
