I’ve been going through japanese ground tt for a year (for some time I was F2P until I bought premium time) just to find out Type 90s were going to be at about the same BR as other nations’ top-tier MBTs, becoming practicaly overtiered and underpowered. If it was not Gaijin with their awesome decision of making a premium Type 90 (therefore making you capable of avoiding suffering just for $70), no one would have whined about its performance. Great example of how wallet warriors negatively impact the game.
And i think Type 90 is balanced, had many great games in it but main issue are my enemies. I play overly aggresive with it and players just dont realize wtf is this or " someone flanking us?" And ofc new player doesnt know that where to shoot it. Veterans kill me with HSTV-L in one shoot when i play it. Its just over abusing 10.7 wallet warriors in premium Leo2A4s, even 2A4M cant stand a change because JM33 just lolpens it anywhere. In downtier i commonly use a tactic to just kill gun barrel/breech and make quick follow up shot when i cant see a one-hit killshot weakspot. Shortly, its great. With proper decompression we could balance it out but now it sits where it should I think.
