Type 90 to 11.7

120mm with 4 second reload at that

did that guy really think BVM is op?

Type 90 should still be at 11.3 unless gaijin extends the br range.

It’s can be served as a backup when your type 90 gets sent back to the hangar, similar like having mbt2000 and khalid

it’s fine at 11.7 with JM/DM33, but as soon as you’re at 12.7 you are just trash. It’s just like Type 16 were with that garbage M735 APFSDS at 9.3. Sure, you can kill people, but post 1500m good luck finding that weak spot especially with Russian tanks.

On maps like Maginot Line JM33 is just completely inadequate at 12.3, 12.7 you can empty all the rounds and not scratch anything.

The tank should go back to 11.3 in my opinion, hasn’t lost anything at 12.7, ammo needs to be adequate for the BR ranges, JM/DM 33 just isn’t it, especially not on an MBT, and with more and more MBTs going down to 5 second reloads, having that extra one second isn’t all that special anymore.

So either move the 12.7 up to 13.0, or lower the Type 90s to 11.3

So you’re worried about Type 90’s performance at 12.7 but you aren’t worried about 10.3s seeing this thing with a 4s reload, DM33 and really good mobility.

Doesn’t change anything I’ve said though.

Exactly, DM33 is completely inadequate at 12.7 which is what you will mostly get while queuing in in 11.7 and makes the tank with 0 armor and atrocious gun handling, gen 1 thermals (gunner), 0 commander thermals, 3 crew, almost completely boring to play, because you need to tip-toe everywhere.

At 11.3 you got bigger fish to worry about than the Type 90, like the aforementioned Terminators, SPAAGs and all the other nonsense that instantly vaporizes any 10.3 tank. Next to that a 4 second reload is an eternity.

I’d like to see you aim a little at 12.7 1500m distance when you’re fighting hull down tanks with JM33. please teach me oh mighty newbie.

BMPT yes, but others ? Not really.

I have the Type 90 and I’m not the one crying, I also use the m1 with 379mm pen against 11.7 vehicles without crying, get better at the game…

You also have great maneuverability and pneumatic suspension that basically allows you to play hull down anywhere…

I’ve never really had issues with the Type 90s (and TKX-P) at their current BR.

Do the rounds suck? Yeah, I really wish we got something other than JM33 at 11.7, But since the Type 90 is so maneuverable you can just flank in it most of the time and do well.

I don’t think a less armored 2A4 with a 4 second reload should be fighting a Leo 2A7. But I don’t think it should go down to 11.3 and fight things like the T-72AV (even though it would be incredibly fun for the Type 90.)

Overall the issue, as usual, is compression. :P

We don’t have enough BRs to place the Type 90s and TKX-P at a healthy spot.

Type 90 is fine with its current BR and round.
If the tkx p or 90 for a dm43 equivelant for example they would end up at 12.3

Using personal experience isn’t a very strong argument btw.

So two people have the vehicle, one is saying it should stay at 11.7 and one saying it should go down but yeah my opinion doesn’t matter, definitely no bias or skill issue with the people crying

The JM33 is fine mate you’ve a four second reload

If the Type 90 got a better round its BR would sky rocket

Holy skill issue. 400mm~ of pen is more than enough to penetrate most top tier tanks.

Exactly! I believe it’s 480mm, With that pen against top tier you’re either going to pen a weak spot or your not.

IMO rounds that pen a lot like the DM53 end up not spalling as much and it actually hurts performance.
