After the discounted sales of japanese vehicles such as type 90 fuji, type 16 FPS players loaded games with those vehicles for finally grinding japanese tech tree. this resulted with crazy amount of uptier and downtier games between players of Rank VI and Rank VIII and undesired matches.
- What i observe is matchmaking putting me in a team of 13-14 fuji players agains 6 nations. after 2-3 minutes if our side isn’t lucky enough (which is more needed than luck in order to keep playing and obviously those players doesn’t have that) all of those 13-14 fuji players leaving as soon as they die and we are playing against 16 players as 2-3 players which results as a lost game and unsatisfactory gameplay. some of us probably even using their boosters as well without knowing what’s gonna happens next game.
Unfortunately in current situation of War Thunder nothing can prevent that. you can play as many games as possible without caring about that because there is no punishment for abusing such attitude. game can not block your crew because you are only using 1 crew anyway.
My advice is limiting the amount of games a crew can handle for a timeframe. 6 games for an hour for example. that would prevent those players spamming matchmaking (they usually straight up driving at 70km/h to a position or zone and dies quickly because why shouldn’t they?) and they have to use their backups, play carefully like they play with their full crews or turning back to nation which they grinded before japan. that would fix the matchmaking issues. - i am currently playing at rank VIII games which doesn’t bother me that much unless those fuji’s ends up in my teams but those loaded japan playerbase causes matchmaking system putting me downtier frequently. i am trying to avoid that with turning back to 8.7 (Rank V) or 9.3-10.3 (rank VI) but guess what? 11.3 is so loaded that japanese players come as uptier to me which makes it even more unplayable.
My advice to that is readjust the BR of type 90 fuji to somewhere higher. like 11.7. it’s completely fair to me.
By the way, i am one of those players who bought type 90 fuji but waiting squadron points for japanese air tree F5E FCU and stopped grind. because if i play with that tank, all of the cases i mentioned above happens every game. and i don’t have 3rd option to play and can’t waste backup’s in that situation. will drive that tank when game turned back to normal or gaijin takes precautions about that.
