In our game, we currently have both mechanical and AESA/PESA radars. Right now, the only difference between them is the scan speed and the angles at which they can detect targets. My idea, which I’d like to pitch to the developers, is to adapt and implement the existing ground radar mechanics into the airborne radars.

As you can see, different radars have a different number of mid-course radio correction channels (highlighted with lines in the screenshots). Almost all new radars (with a few exceptions), as well as some older ones, feature more than 2–3 radio channels for missile guidance correction.
My idea is to port the mechanics used for ground-based radars (such as the Pantsir-S1, Pantsir-SM/SV, and Tor-M1) over to aviation. Specifically, I’m proposing to display tracked and guided targets on the aircraft’s radar screen in the exact same way it is currently implemented for SPAA/SAM systems.
