Oh the classic 2 pixel driver port hit argument, ain’t that convenient. As if, idk, ANY nation has that type of weakspot around the driver’s port/turret ring?
Whoever aims for turret cheeks got a major skill issue when there’s a huge weakspot called “Turret ring”.
Again they suffer from major issues that makes the turret cheeks useless.
Man i’ve seen so many russian/german and even a couple of french players hitting the turret cheeks AFTER the changes in the turret basket, it’s so cringe to realize you’re alive when it’s easier to be hit than to resist on an Abrams.
Then you hit a nailspot hit to cook a T-80BVMs ammo and the coping madman says ‘xDDDDD reported’
Whoever aims for the most armored part of a Russian tank got a major skill issue when there’s multiple weakspots called the driver’s port, LFP, and breach.
Yeah, there is. Also the driver’s port is not hard to hit XD.
It’s not hard to hit, but in reality it barely ever gets breach/kills both turret crew/cooks ammo/gets horizontal-vertical, out of any of those scenarios, you never get a single one at all.
WARNING: If you quote your picture to dismiss what i said, you should consider that you aimed the M774 from elevation, and that changes the spalling pattern. Refrain from doing so.
If you don’t hit it with a competitive, top tier round, it’s a wasted shot 80% of the time.
That can’t be said with the Abrams neck, or the pre-2A7 hull, or the suffering minor nations hull.
You still dont get it, don’t ya.
When you shoot the breach at the Abrams you take out the breach, 2 crew, engine, basket.
When you shoot the breach at the T80BVM you take out the breach, 1 crew.
See the huge difference?
Let’s not get started about how Gaijin still did not add DU to the turret cheeks and they should be better in KE protection.
Han shot first statement.
This should have ended the conversation lol L2K/VT1-2 ARE THE STRONGEST SHOOT THAT WEAK SHPT

It has been very consistent for me.

I am factoring the height difference between the 2 tanks.
I am factoring the height difference between the 2 tanks.
lol no? You’re adding like 1 1/2 meter when it’s barely taller for CQB conventions?
And this whole driver ports frontal weakspot it’s absolutely besides the point. NATO tanks as a whole are weaker and less protected than Russian tanks to the point even a 10.ish tank can reliably pen their hulls anywhere and achieve pens, the USSR/Russian tanks being the only exception to that.
I get it, you like russian stuff but defending this while moving the goalposts and false equivalences is fairly beyond the convincing side of this conversation.
When you shoot the breach at the Abrams you take out the breach, 2 crew, engine, basket.
The breach only takes out the breach and some crew members (1-2).
The breach on the BVM takes out the breach and maybe a crew member.
If you shoot the BVM’s driver’s port, it dies.
If you shoot the Abrams’ driver’s port, it dies.
Anyways, I am not going to continue this argument. I have stated my points, and I don’t feel its worth it to argue with someone that is incapable of playing the Abrams family after over 4500 games in the thing.

That is not 1.5 meters.

I shall stop my participation on this conversation right on that quote.

I actually despise Russian tanks. My least favorite to play in the entire game.

Despise something ingame =/= despising it irl. I hated how Gaijin introduced the F-15A, but i tend to like the F-15 series. Actual last comment as you wanted to end in a ‘i never actually liked them despite defending them most of the time’ tone.

I don’t like them IRL or in-game.
the breach and some crew members
You clearly did not try a SEP because if you did you wouldn’t say this.
If you shoot the BVM’s driver’s port, it dies.
The driver eats the shell sometimes and its a tricky spot to aim at because there’s a chance you could hit the ERA.
Don’t get me started about the Russian ERA and how it overperform.
BVM has far less armor than T-90M, 2A7V, and Strv 122.
What matters in Top Tier is armor
lol If this mattered Strv 122s would’ve been the top performers permanently.
BVM would be around Abrams in practice.
What matters at most at top BR is player placement, mobility, and ammo.
Soviet ERA does not over-perform in the slightest. By all means keep calling NATO liars for testing the ERA themselves.
I’ll have 2A6 anyday, anytime over T90s and T80s cuz it ain’t get shit gun depression+reverse gear and actually competent on hill maps
lol If this mattered Strv 122s would’ve been the top performers permanently.
They did outperform every nation and had the best WR in GRB.
What matters at most at top BR is player placement, mobility, and ammo.
Armor is what matters Alvis take your meds.

It is check this thread.
Sorry guys but this is going to be a very long post but i promise it will be worth it. It will expose russian bias when it comes to overall protection of russian tanks at top tier. I bet you had your matches where you shot 120mm DM53 L/55 at T-72B ‘89’ upper plate for it to just bounce. Youre scratching your head like, why does a tank from 1989 have so much protection when Leopard 2A6 from 2001 only has 450mm KE hull. SO you aim at the lower plate instead next time and shoot just for the round …
