TV guided weapons must have their SP cost put on par with IR weapons

LDIRCM isn’t a flare, it literally blinds the seeker with a laser.
Can you see after someone shines a laser into your eyes?
LDIRCM is a similar concept iirc

But well, gaijin be gaijin and they can’t code for shit

that’s odd

IR/TV seekers when LDIRCM spots them irl:

but I guess your proof should be enough along with some real UNCLASSIFIED documents you should be able to bug report

that’s what I was saying, the question was why they (you) were trying to recommend someone else try it with the KH-29 despite it being the best cas missile in game (that’s actually real…) while trying to prove that TV guided stuff is the same as IR stuff.

my point is, the KH-29 has a higher than average lock range for TV seekers, so their (your) point is pretty invalid.

LDIRCM

it might cook the seeker, but it won’t have as strong of an effect because it isn’t blinding the seeker immediately, it being not in the IR spectrum and all.

a powerful laser that can boil a IR seeker will also wreck a TV camera sensor.

heres a rather low power (in comparison) laser from a LIDAR system damaging a camera, just to prove the concept exists.

What a meaningless statement, there’s only 2 lock on ranges for TV missiles in the files

  • ~6km range (12km base value)

missiles like the AGM-65B/H/K, Delilah, Grom-B, PGM-500/2, PGM-2000/2, Kh-29T/TE/TD, etc

  • ~3km (6km base value)

missiles like the AGM-65A, bombs like the KAB-500Kr/Kr-M, KAB-1500Kr, AGM-62A/B, etc

So yeah, technically 6km is higher than the average between 3 and 6, but then every 6km TV missile is “higher than average”

I frankly couldn’t care less about this stuff,or to better put it: you just showed how TV missiles are,yet again, stronger than IR missiles and are more of an upgrade in this game for how Gaijin is treating them

And i see you refused to watch my proof, good

They’re not
This is just a gimmick
