Seriously, do you have actually used TV quided missiles and IR quided after that.

If you get lucky, you get target lock on around 6km, usually it is way under that on games.
You got quite shit seeker imagine vs IR quided.

True 29T’s are powerful, but what they lack is seeker , dusk, dawn , any map where is no bright daylight and even slightest clouds and that seeker is thinking what it should do.
Even that Mavericks fly slower and does less damage vs 29T’s , I rather use IR mav’s instead 29T’s.
So much easyer to spot people , and you can actually get em on lock.

IR guided bombs dont actually use heat sources in game.

you cant solar blind or flare an IR bomb which is why they are so goated for killing heli players

What you mean is LDIRCM is not modelled to affect TV guided missiles

Also, TV bombs literally cannot lock any aircraft.

at 10.7 i bring a F-4K and a hawk 200 RDA for GRB, phantom to fox-4 a nuclear bomber and the hawk to hit ground targets if the weather is good, and to skytrash helis

Ive killed plenty of chinese helis i think have LDIRCM with IR AGM 65s when using my harriers, one of my victims was bound to have

Oh you want to play stats? I have the sheet right with me,here are the differences between the A and B model:

  1. B has a better seeker zoom

  2. B has 10° less gimbal limit

  3. B has half the track rate of the A

  4. B has double the range against targets of the A

So the B has better zoom and range but worse track rate and gimbal limit
