but this is the point of the most russian/soviet mbt´s br placement
Yes but that dosen’t meant you shall play it like that. Different maps require different playstyle and I preferred the stealthy way.
good luck with peaking and retreating… maybe a reverse gear would be good
no need to retreat when the enemy is blind. Do people not leave their thermal on or somthing? when use ESS they are always damn blind.
you mean the smoke that doesnt blind thermals?
yes. Engine smokes
See, truly the definition of russian junk
Can’t even handle an 8.3 SPAA and get killed frontally, mid range some more and “so armored bro” can’t even take a few hits from 35mm? yet NATO mains still trying to gaslight lol
It weakspot have pretty much never change even a some rank 1 can pentrate it frontally.
I’m gonna start hiding from SPAA from now on, scare shitless
I wonder why no Russian SPAA can even pentrate any NATO tank… other then the ZSU-57-2
Because they are mostly junk aka piece of 💩, the shilka and yenesei are both inferior in their AT ability, shilka AA might be alright due to the volume but AT sucks when you compare it to Gepards and Falcon. A bunch of trash across all br, pissed me off reading NATO mains continue to glaze and gaslight ru vehicles lol
The darts one of tbe worst in game
The T55A armour is near identical to the T54 1951
It does not have good mobility at all.
It has a bad turret traverse
And reload is pathetic at the best of times.
The amx30s at 8.7 have a fantastic dart even for 9.3 as well as thermals, LRF, better mobility than T55 and ofc ERA and IRCM on tbe brenus.
The Turm3 im waiting for it to move up before getting it same as i did for the F5C.
The turm 3 does infact shred mbts frontally with the 30mm , the amx30 it can, leopards, Of 40s, vickers mk3, Type 74s.
All bar the T55 and possibly the ztz59D1 (which should.be 8.7)
And you are massively underatating how effective the combination of thermals,LRF, decent optics and fantastic dart make at 8.7
They are great tanks
And for this great power you’ve to give up only one thing: The stabiliser. Which really is not a problem once you get used to it. Honestly some of my favourite tanks, almost makes me feel like playing properly. I won’t, but it does make me consider it.
However, the Turm 3 is just strictly better. Unless suddenly we’re getting the APDS for the AMX 30’s 20mm.
Skill issue if you can’t handle a Turm III
I wonder why no ATGM works on Russian tanks the way it does on NATO tanks, why is that? Not even 2-stage ATGMs like the TOW-2A and TOW-2B, which are supposed to pierce the armor, work properly. The first one still works decently from the side and against the lower weak point of the chassis, but supposedly it should penetrate any tank with ERA protection. In practice though, you often end up dying just because you only managed to knock off two ERA plates from the enemy tank.
keep trying. it works for others.
It’s rng bro, my T-72s sometimes can take 6-7 ATGM hits and not die, other times getting KO’d in one hit, mainly by Spikes, my M1A2 could take a bunch too in hull down position, it doesn’t get hit as much as T-72s because it could reverse to evade
The fact it has a reliable apds from the 105 with a great reload, optics, mobility and the 30mm leaves it in one of the best positions for its br.
The amx30s only drawback is said missing stab, which can cause issues if you drive around max speed constantly.
If you play around it then its not an issue
You’ve clearly never been nuked.in a BVM by a weisel then…
The russian tanks are laughably garbage in game tbh.
Theres like 3 or 4 good ones at the high / upper BRs.
The lower BRs are a bit differemt as their armour may come in to save you, but the pay off is still the same. Mobility, reload, survivability all sacrificed
