The 30B2 / Brenus are extemely good in extemely niche situations.
Unlike the turm 3 which can be utilised in almost any situation due to the platform.
Obscene mobility on par with lights and better than most 9.0 IFVs.
The 30mm coax is better than half the auto cannons found on lights.
Plus a 5 second auto loading 105.m apds slinger which can and does pummel folks.
Couple that with the turret no longer being susceptible to .50 cal fire it also means if it barrels you most tanks cant respond.
Lets also not forget the 20mm coaxial auto cannon on the AMXs’ has been borked for years now and can barely pen an m163

Lol. You mean if you want to die to an autocannon, or machine gun, sure. Turm III requires restraint. It’s people thinking they can rush in with it that are keeping it at 8.3.

I see your point but why is the xm800 so high br even though several other vehicles have the exact same gun at lower br (Wiesel 1a4, marder 1a1 and 1a3, luchs and sub-I-II) at lower br with the marders getting not only the same gun but missiles as well
probably the fact its better than those vehicles by pretty wide margins, having a fully stabilized gun, a fully traversable turret, and being highly mobile

the xm800 having a stabiliser is the main argument I see for it being 8.7 but I dont think a stabiliser will help if you cant pen most of the things you fight

not only just the whole tank in general, and you have the IFV br at this br so you cant argue you cant pen shit
the 8.3 is7 that pops up every few rounds and proceeds to steamroll you and your team for one
the t-62 can only be penned from the lower side
Well, you can’t be expected to be able to counter a heavy tank like the IS-7 in a 20mm autocannon vehicle. Your vehicle is specialized to basically instantly delete anything with extreme conviction if you can penetrate them. If you could pen everything it would just be called “insanely overpowered”.
