God how much of a tryhard do you need to be to play the premium vautour 2n(c) land on undefended airfield and j out everytime someone tries to strafe you then call them a loser because you’re cheesing the game. Would love to see this practice punished gaijin please ban the use of airfield j’ing out to advoid giving credit to players. I get that you want to rearm to different loadout but at least give us credit for it or something… It’s a shitty tryhard cheese tactic and I hate it. This is not a complaining thread I’m just outlining how toxic and min max these people are that they don’t want to let people get rewards for the game.
Usually the best answer for that issue is go back, strafe ground units and wait for timer of inactivity to count down or bleed tickets, flying around the enemies’ airfield like a mosquitoe won’t help you either in that situation.
I mean it shouldn’t be allowed in the first place. The guy is a tryhard and spams nords at people and whines if anyone even attempts to counter him. then spamm dm’s me after match calling me gamer words
Leaving your airplane while on airfield stationary is a gray zone area of War Thunder gameplay mechanics that benefits players wanting to change loadouts and can be used to decline scores from enemies trying to finish you off in a disadvantage position. On the other hand harassement by sending harsh words on chat or private messages is indeed punishable which you should report.
Mods just tell me I havent reported anything which is false. But oh well nothing I can do
Could be a technical issue, which for me is no surprise that something related to War Thunder isn’t working properly. Game Masters should be able to help further.
I have conflicting feelings about one type of airfield camper complaining about the other…
It’s also really frustrating having the system send me passive when I change loadouts, I kill a few people, RTB, swap my load out and the match ends before I can take off, I have lost 2 matches due to that and one of those I didn’t even J to change load outs.
It’s especially bad at top tier when you are running low fuel with the air spawn for BVR, then need to change fuel or take drop tanks 2nd fly out.
The issue is sweats will abuse what ever system is in place, as soon as you remove airfield protection to stop people abusing it you just have half the enemy team avoid contact and fly to the enemy AF to camp landers, if you provide decent defenses to protect landers that just want to repair and rearm to get back into the fight those same people just try to abuse it to hide from fights.
I suppose you could put a timer on J-outs, you can J-out to rearm once, but if you J-out again within x amount of time or with out taking off it ejects you.
Just leave and return when he takes off. It’s not hard to do.
Bud, you’d be surprised to see this at top tier.
I only having 1 teammate left vs 5 enemies. My teammate landed and returned to hangar to left me 1v5.
Other match, I killed 4 people. The last one decided to land and return to hangar denying my fifth kill :D
Maybe don’t airfield camp & instead go for ground units for more SL & RP on top of the time-based SL & RP you get.
There’s no benefit from ending matches as soon as possible.
He was trying to takeoff, but you weren’t letting him.
wdym J out on af has been an issue?
If he managed to stop his undamaged plane on an airfield he is good to J-out. Wdym you want to be rewarded? For what? Have you killed him in a somewhat fair fight or something? You already got a massive energy advantage over him, because you have an altitude and he is stationary on the ground and have to accelerate first in order to perform maneuvers.
Also imagine crashing out about vautour player while having 0.1 KD on it yourself.
or how about you get more RP and SL and just ground pound AI targets instead of camping the enemy airfield
airfeild campers fell off…well not really you just must stay above 10km to avoid airfeild spaa that will burn any jet I dont like campers but I love being a vulture anyways I did get nuked by a f-16 chasing me to the airfeild so I would recommend taking a slightly long flight to airfeild with AA
if you cant beat them… join the them…
ok now let us do this in ground
Imho you mix here two things:
A) J out on undefended airfield multiple times
-
I agree that it is sometimes extremely annoying to come just a few seconds too late - especially if you have tracked an extremely dangerous aircraft like a BI and you have otherwise no chance to kill them. Same as if you extend too far allowing the guy to take off whilst his energy generation is far better than yours (like fighting a Yak-3 in a Firefly) - so even 30 seconds between your loop might be too long.
-
But your point “avoiding giving credit to players” holds actually no water - the fact that you were too late denies you the credit - and if the guy is the last one you win due to inactivity. And if you missed your opportunity you always run the risk of getting boxed in by players coming back from center map or main airfield. So either you score - or not.
B) Punishment by gaijin
-
Alone the fact that gaijin allows j out in infinite loops should give you a hint that they either don’t care or don’t see this as a problem.
-
Therefore:
Prepare a suggestion (game mechanics) which limits this procedure to two j out procedures after a landing . One for switching loadout, one for adjusting fuel (my problem) - meaning j out a 3rd time put you in the hangar. This limits also the acceleration of rearming by landing an undamaged aircraft - you can currently land and immediately j out and respawn which is faster than the 10 second repair.
This
The mouse won’t come out if you stick your face in the entrance.
If you are losing on tickets then that simply means you were outplayed in the tactical side, the enemy will wait for you to strafe AI units and equalize energy states to have a chance at least.
If they lose a fight then they should be at a disadvantage.
Insanse skill issue. Maybe don’t fixate on killing one guy and go do something else?
