Troll squads

While I understand your point, you could also have 4 absolute aces in that squad. They clear the sky in no time, your team wins, you survive with zero score and 0 SL. And that is quite legitimate. If you were on the biplane team, you would probably have earned at least someting.

The removal of the biplanes won’t change that.

So it’s fine to queue up for GRB with your Reserve tier tanks while having a top tier jet in your lineup ?

Sure, I agree with you on this to some extent. However

someone performing good is not disruptive to the game nor the team.

If person brings BR appropriate aircraft and mops the floor with enemy team while I do nothing and effectively waste my booster - it can happen and when it happens it sucks, but I have only me to blame that I did not adjust my playstyle to gain at least some score.

I know what you will probably counter with - why not adjust your playstyle when theres three friendly biplanes on my team?

Difference is I can adjust to this situation while flying the same plane with the same loadout, assuming I would know beforehand that such wipe would happen.

I cant adjust to three biplanes in my team in a sense that compensates for the missing CMs, missiles and effectively targets for enemy team to shoot at with single aircraft.

no one calls for that, but some “minimal BR” restriction when it comes to squads in ARB could be implemented.

Isn’t that what people often do to use the jet? Or chopper for that matter?

What we now arrive at is this: Different modes would need different rules in different mechanics. Air RB would need a squad BR rule, Naval AB would not need one.
Then we would have to examine lineup BR rules. In air AB, they would be an economy nerf. In naval AB, they would be totally unacceptable, due to shallow water caps. And so on.

Honestly, there are plenty of premium players who either leave after one death or buy to top tier instantly and can’t play the game, which is a much more common issue than low ranked players in top tier.

But to YOUR booster, which was the base of your reasoning.

Sure, but two wrongs dont make a right.

Two issues can exist at once, even if one is much more common its still an issue.

Not as much as base as point to demonstrate on, sorry if that wasnt clear.

The base was meant to be the “disruptivness” to the normal gameplay flow.

Let people have a lil bit of fun, god mode exists for a reason. They are bigger issues to deal with, even tho this forum is one of many that gaijin is gonna ignore

With ur booster there might be a low tier enemy that u can easily kill for some gains, so it works both ways.

Any good 4-squad is way more disruptive to the normal gameplay flow. If you did pick say a slow attacker (A-10 perhaps) or a slow tank, the game could be over before you ever reach anything or anything reaches you. The biplanes would end the game with more score than you would in that ace squad scenario. Bot are risks you have to deal with every once in a while. I lost 500% due to server crashes too.

I am not sure if it is worth it to impose a limit that would affect all game modes one way or another in order to avoid the biplanes in air rb. I don’t like them either.

God Mode shouldn’t exist as it incentivizes griefing, which is against the rules.

Now you ask for massive economy nerfs. That new!

That’s the problem.
Doing that shouldn’t be possible in the first place.

Economy nerfs for who, griefers ?

Sure but the disruptivness comes from them doing good, ie. something that is not only prefered but expected of all players in the match as well. Even if there are some drawbacks to it, its still net positive.

Disruptivness of 3 biplanes in comparison, is net negative.

Such limit could be applied to ARB, each mode already has its own unique ruleset. It doesnt have to apply to ground too.

I explained it above.
Warthunder isn’t just realistic air. Godmode is part of the arcade gaming (and income). There is no spawn limit in arcade air. So if you quit after you run out of jets, you are griefing more than you do if you hunt down jets with a prop. So what is griefing in one mode is all but griefing in another mode.

I don’t mind having different rules for different game modes. A 4-man squad spawning M22s in top tier GRB is definitely griefing and should be a bannable offence.

But you proposed to remove an award (godmode).

I submitted a suggestion for this a few weeks ago. My suggestion seems to have disappeared into a black-hole.

Gaijin just doesn’t seem to care.
