Long time player, finally got enough money and time to build a great PC and wanted to play some War Thunder again. After some games, I finally decided to ditch Sony and move to PC. I wanted to open a ticket and unlock all the PC perks once and for all.
And then I find this: a function that worked 99% of the time (although with some limitations, but hey, it’s better than being stuck with Sony, tbh), and after digging around, I find out that 2 years passed since the transfer got removed. Seriously?
I know it’s not a priority, and honestly I don’t blame Gaijin and the devs for this because, at the end of the day, it’s a company that needs to make as much money as possible, and the lower they spend, the higher they get. But at the same time, this logic doesn’t hold much water. Having a PSN account limits the user’s choice in what packs they can buy, and the company probably gets less money because of store fees. So what gives, Gaijin?
I wouldn’t mind having a choice like this:
“Hey, the service is not available anymore for free, but for a fee of X amount, we can bring your profile to PC.”
This would probably be profitable for both the player and the company. I know it’s been asked an infinite amount of times, but my question is different.
Instead of “when will the service come back?” I wanted to ask this: “Is there a way, even with payment involved, that Gaijin can allow us players to unbind our accounts?”
I don’t want to sound like a douche to all the F2P players, but for how much I’ve grinded and spent on my account, a small fee is nothing, honestly.
