We can see that it also got GPS bombs, but why can it only carry 6? If we can carry 10X1000lbs, then we should be able to carry 10 500lbs GPS bombs.

Wiring most likely, not a weight issue
yeah i’d say wiring… those twin carriers might not have any wiring for smart bombs and i cant remember ever seeing a tornado carry smart bombs with that
ya i use HDR， so when i cap the screen it will overexposure

These old dual bomb carriers don’t have wiring for programming GPS coordinates from the plane to the bomb.
Same debate was had when JDAMs were added to AV-8B and only one could be carried per pylon. But the community was able to prove that a modified Tripple Ejector Rack was developed with the necessary wiring to program multiple JDAMs. This isn’t the case with Tornado’s Twin Stores Carrier

The ASSTA1 variant, DID NOT have the ability to use JDAMs.
That came with the ASSTA3 variant.

Maybe we should get assta3 in this version and downgrade germ-assta1 italy-1995 to 10.7/11.0 GRB (when A7E got 6 AGM62A but still 10.7) GR1 GOT PGM500X4 so it fine at 11.3
oh wait that jdam is GBU-54 and it a laser jdam
if it can use gbu-16 (lazer guide) then it shoud fine with gbu-54

And this is when the UK already has better CAS, (Harrier GR7: with 6 GBUX12/4XAGM65G-4XAIM9M) F111C (4XGBU10/GBU24), GR1 is also stronger than ASSTA1 and 1995, because of PGM2000/500

looking at that site, it just says IDS version.
And they’re using a photo of a Tornado from ~2015 (Operation Counter Danesh)
ASSTA1 came out ~2003
ASSTA2 came out March 2007
ASSTA3 came out December 2012
I am going to assume they are referencing the ASSTA3 variant, not the ASSTA1 on that site, and therefore it still can’t use it.
