Toptier Vs 11.3 #f4s

that sounds intresting , just trying to imagine getting all the keybinds fitted on ps controller :D

Haha yeah it’s a bit tricky but definitely possible. Most of my keybinds are sorted into the D-pad buttons. For example holding down ↓ on d-pad unlocks the radar keybinds, looks like this:

weaponry are sorted into right on d-pad, and plane mechanisation is sorted into left on the d-pad.

Most important part however is getting good view-in-air controls and also making it ergonomic. Situational awareness is everything in sim. I have a controls guide if you’re interested

Nice :D
Maybe I’ll look on that some day, gotta save this for later if (when) needed :D
Just wondering that Touchpad binding on radar target lock. I would imagine switching it to L1 would be more in hand at least for myself since I usually switch before takeoff those scales :D
Just 2 months ago on RB games I figured that radar cue usage, what helped a lot on mig/su27 usage.
especially after american pd head on radar, where you didnt need that cue using at all on sparrows…

“Test ah64 cockpit”, map diagonal size, br from 21/4 to 18/6 you damn sick bastard !!

Thanks mate ! accuracy notes is love 😊 I use the table from the wiki for a basic day to day check

Hahaha! Yeah there’s this sheet too! As the Calendar is my most used reference, I jot down things I wan to test there too…

Btw, another thing I did was set up my smartphones calendar widget with the BR-calendar, so I can check even on my phone.

And as to the (accurate…) sick bastard remark, glad you can’t see the hidden sheets. There’s stuff to guesstimate time to fly along or diagonally through one map grid depending on speed and stuff, but never actually used those much so I hid them away (but keep for future reference).

What might be interesting however for sim pilots (especially bombers), is this little thing here:

WT Live // Location by Schindibee (warthunder.com)

= )

I will try the calendar stuff, just marking the days since I am not a frequent sim player.

Oh yes, calculating travel is crucial, I have some rustic info somewhere. Also testing max speed with different weaponry on test fly, fuel

Too late, quitted ccrp I only use the ccip

I’ve unhidden my speed sheet, if you want to have a look…

Never really used it so not even sure if the calculations are correct haha!

If the 2nd row numbers are seconds, then its pretty accurate, at least at 1000km/h speeds.

And if you really care, use this

Thats how this game works and always was set up this way.

Get a chatpad my friend

I was actually considering it, but I realised it would be less ergonomic to use chatpad. Current d-pad thing I got going on allows me to use all the keybinds I need whilst still controlling critical aircraft functions by using claw-grip pretty much, not really possible on an xbox controller though as that d-pad is located below the left stick so chatpad is more useful for xbox players.

I would love some of those pedals on the back of the controller though, but they’re only present on those 200-300$ elite controllers.

not competitive with joystick in a dogfight

The topic has gone as far as it can go. The issue is that there is a big technology change between 10br and 11br. Also between 11 and 12. I don’t want to fly in high altitude planes. This is a ridiculous policy.
