Similarly, if you can’t accept our proposal, why don’t you play another tank game that has Chinese and international servers? This way we can better feedback to the community forum and some people won’t be angry.

I’m maining Japan and I like the subtree very much. Actually, I think it didn’t go far enough because I’d love to fly Thai F-86L.
None can replace a T-84, or Stingray, or M163 TVADS.
Noone I knew liked the thai techtree being added to japan at first, now its only funny to see some other having a meltdown bc of stuff might being added to japan…
This should’ve ended it.

Many actually advocated for the Thai subtree for various reasons. Some are Thai and want to see their nation, some are not but are still interested in Thai vehicles and military, and some just want Japanese lineups to be supported.
All of these are valid.
I don’t like how Gaijin implements subtrees. Most issues that people have are issues that I think are purely issues of implementation.
Subtrees wasting space for the main nation, watering down research on one hand, but also being put below another nation instead of an equal with improper representation.
I think all of these issues can be fixed, and would even help controversies like this. Right now people don’t want VT-4 for Japan, with fixed subtrees it would be clearly placed in a proper Thai tree.

As a Chinese player, I really don’t want VT4 to come to Japan. The United States has AIM, Germany has Leopard PL, and China has VT4 (Thailand) is obviously not a problem.

Well they are Chinese, in contrast to Thai being a subtree.
I think splitting nations is a serious problems. Thai players deserve Thai vehicles in one place just as much as Chinese players deserve Chinese vehicles in one place.
But to make that happen I agree that the current subtree system is bad. There needs to be a rework.
With a rework, it could actually be placed in a Thai research tree, which would solve the problem.

They are still US produced. And Thailand is a Japanese sub tree, so just like ROC vehicles going to China all Thai vehicles should go to Japan.
Just another “rules for thee but not for me” situation…

Poland is not a main or subtree nation
Thailand IS a subtree nation so it must go to the subtree.

ROC is not a subtree. The tree isn’t called PRC, but China.
Thai and Japan are two literally unrelated countries put together simply for a bit of geography and good old sake of Japan’s tree size.

If you can treat every country fairly like this, then I completely agree: remove Japanese planes from the United States, remove Soviet tanks and planes from Germany, remove German tanks from France, and so on.

Doesn’t matter that Thailand and Japan are unrelated. Thailand is an official sub tree in the Japanese tree so their vehicles go there, it’s as simple as that.
Either you go the sub tree route and give all the vehicles of said sub tree nation to the tree they are in, or you go full purist mode and remove all foreign vehicles from every tree, including China.
can’t have your cake and eat it too (or whatever the saying is).
As long as you can let the game officials do this, then I completely agree. That’s fair, isn’t it?

So china would lose 50% of its vehicles bc most are more or less copies from soviet airplanes
