Topic about Japan adds T-84 and VT-4

Then we wait for update and see if they add it in Japan tech tree

gaijin wont likely add it in tusk force since its not in dev server, but that does not exclude its addition in future patches.

You legit contradict yourself. First you saying “no VT-4 any time”, and now roll to “let’s see if it gets added this update or not”, as if it should define whether Thai VT-4 comes to Thai sub-tree.

Forum mod already stated it is not coming this update.

So instead of awaiting the update, you, like others and me included, should wait for Q&A covering the subject.

Fair enough

Which is a part of the Thai Army, so is part of the Thai subtree.

I’m excited to see a Thai VT-4 at this point 🤣

Doesn’t Italy have their own R/3?

Italy has the R/1 and premium R/4.

Unfortunately no, regular tree only has a weaker R/1 (4x12,7 mm offensive instead of 2x30 mm, half cut loadouts) at the same br as R/3 and pre-serie with even lower capabilities, but at least it’s one step lower in br.

I wish more people were this passionate about the Aussie Abrams being in the US tree instead of the British tree with the other 13 Australian vehicles.

Agreed, Australia really suffers from their vehicles being needlessly spread out. Gaijin should figure out one place for Australia, the way it is now does more harm than good.

Wrong, VT4 tank developed by China is used for military foreign trade, ZTZ99A is used by the PLA

thats what they always do if they dont know how the players will respond
leopard C2a1 and 2a4M are both upgraded by canada but they put it in the german tech tree due to the conflict that could arise

but since theyre event and premium, they can still be put in a different tech tree
if you look at the american merkavas that are event are now in its own tech tree

Yeah, if a nation has no fixed home it usually goes to the manufacturer nation. It’s then added in one place once a nation gets a proper home.

But Australia and Canada are different. They are somewhere inbetween where sometimes they act like subtrees (think ADATS or F-111 in the UK tree) but sometimes they don’t (like the Abrams or Leopards going to the manufacturer trees), sometimes they’re even subtrees in two nations at once (like the Skink in US and UK tree).

Personally I don’t like split nations in the first place, but at least there is reason behind that and it can change once a nation has a home. But what Gaijin does to Australia and Canada is something I wouldn’t wish on any nation.

American Merkavas have not been moved.

It’s actually not really spread out. As I said, there’s 13 Australian vehicles in the British tree across land/sea/air. The only vehicle that isn’t there IS the Abrams.

no but they reappeared in the israel tech tree

they probably didnt know about how players will react if it goes to the brits

Which is a complete double standard. When the Swedish tree was added they removed the Strv 81 from the British tree (people who owned it in the British tree kept it of course) and put it in the new tree. When the Israeli tree was added the Sho’t Kal Dalet was removed from the British tree and moved to the new tree.

When the Finnish were added with the Swedish, the Germans still have the Finnish KV-1. When the Israeli tree was added the US still have the Merkavas. When the Chinese tree was added, the Russians still have Chinese vehicles.

Gaijin moves the Ram II to the British tree, the US still keeps it. The US never used the Skink, and didn’t even want it - yet they now have 2.
